Friendly, service exceptional and food was amazing. I had venison that was cooked to perfection and my husband had steak and Ale pie which he struggled to finish but wanted to as portion was huge. Will definitely be back when in the area Dimi and his team deserve more than five stars

Amazing historic farm buildings make for a cozy and interesting pub. Kind and friendly staff but the kitchen doesn't quite live up to the rest of the experience. While the mixed grill was generous in size, the steak was cold and the chicken dry. Doesn't take away from the fact that this is a great place to enjoy a pint.

What a lovely venue. A Tudor Manor which has been turned into a great place to be. We attended for a family get together after a loved ones internment at a local church and the food was lovely (buffet) and the staff were very nice and the place was clean, tidy and bright. A great place overall.

I really enjoyed the meals here. The camembert was excellent!
Service was not too slow even though it was very busy.
Prices were not over the top but maybe the high side. They weren't giving it away but the cost reflected the quality.
I would definitely go back if I stay near here again.

It was a nice little pub next to the Premier Inn my partner and I stayed at. We got lunch here because we were a bit early for the hotel check in. The interior was nice, the staff were nice and the food was nice. Only knocked off a star because the table we had inside was a bit wobbly and there was a bit of a buggy cobweb problem in the corner.

Wow the best meal I have ever had pork belly 😋🤤😋

Nice place, friendly and helpful staff. Must be a very old building but they have spruced it up nicely.
The food menu is a bit basic and limited, but the food is very nice and a very reasonable price for the area! The drinks menu was extensive with some really nice options.

We needed an evening meal whilst staying at the nearby Premier Inn. The Gatwick Manor is next door and in easy walking distance. It had food to suit varying tastes at reasonable prices.

The food when they got it right was lovely but it took them a couple of goes. There were 9 of us and I'd ordered the wagu burger which when the first came out was so dry you had to have a swig to get it down, my partner asked for a medium rare steak and it came out grey all the way through and like leather. The Italian platter was beautiful except it had clearly sat underneath a hot lamp for far too long as the two ordered nobody could figure out what one of the dishes was supposed to be as it looked like curdled water. Later found out (as the dish was left) it was the cherry tomatoes and mozzarella but obviously the mozzarella had part melted and curdled under the heat. Our suspicion reinforced when my daughter's make your own wrap came out but the supposed grated cheese in the pot we thought was the mayonnaise as it had completely melted but then got cool enough to set again . The waitress was also clearly not a happy bunny that day either although the male server was very chirpy and helpful.
All that negativity said, when the burger and steak came back out it was far far better and delicious and with the exception of the mozzarella on the Italian platter the dish was beautiful.
So two things, please don't leave food sitting under the heat lamp for too long as its revolting and cheer up your staff, however cook the menu as you proved you can and you're onto a winner.

I have never been to this particular pub before but your food & drink and level of service was simply outstanding. Your waiter James' attention to detail was especially excellent. However, all staff were friendly and superb. I can highly recommend this fine pub.

Paid £36.00 for cold and tasteless food! Service was awfully slow and only 1 bar staff member with not a very well stocked bar and over priced! Dj was not experienced enough we up and down on the dance floor like a yo yo to the point next doors dj had it spot on but tiny dance floor. If had not been for the group of people I was attending with I would have got up and gone home! Totally poor experience.

Best meal out I've had in a long time.. went for my birthday with family.. there was about 13 of us including 2 young children.. they brought their meals out with the starters so they didn't have to wait too long to eat. Food was amazing. I had the steak and ale pie which lives up to its award winning status. Will definitely be going back.

So, after booking our reservation online, we arrived to be told they hadn't reserved a table for us and were not aware of our booking. They found us a place but we were sat right by a cold, breezy door and we all had to sit in our coats. We were advised the radiators couldn't be turned on and neither could the fire. We were eventually moved into a warmer area which was great although the food then came to be of a massive let down. I asked for medium steak but it came out basically CREMATED. (Poor Cow) and I was given about 8 peas on my plate. I didn't feel too full! I won't deny that the apple pie was pretty tasty! I am not normally not one to moan but we attended the restaurant for the occasion of my Nan's birthday and quite frankly, no one gave a shit and took a good half hour to take away our dirty plates. The 'pretty' interior compensates for the lousy waitressing and hospitality.
Thank you and
Good night.

Great food and service with a warm welcome, that's all I want these days and found bucket full's yesterday at Gatwick Manor. Yeh it was busy and no I didn't get into the restaurant as it was booked up but had a great meal in the bar with a couple of pints and to say they cook a great Black Angus steak is no lie, perfectly cooked to my liking and served with a hot fresh portion of chips which sadly you don't get everywhere these days .

Had my retirement party there. Lots of options and reasonable value. Food was well presented and staff were really friendly and helpful.

I visited the restaurant on the 10th of July with my boyfriend and his family. Initially when we arrived, everything seemed fine, we were sat at a lovely table, tucked away, with a nice sofa seat. Unfortunately, the sofa seat was too far away from the table for the people sitting there to eat comfortably. Therefore, we asked the staff if we could pull the table out, and instead, have chairs. They happily complied and pulled up three chairs for us. The drinks, starters, and mains came very promptly, and were delicious all round, the only complaints were the portion sizes, and the meats in the roasts containing far more fat than meat. We then went on to order pudding, which the waitress said would take about 15 minutes, as the kitchen was busy, when a table of about 13 came in. The table they were sitting on had been positioned pretty much directly behind my boyfriends fathers chair. My boyfriends father arrived with a crutch and clearly demonstrated difficulty with walking. I therefore found this incredibly unacceptable, as if he wanted to get up, he would have been completely unable to, as there was about an inch between the two chairs. The table of 13 positioned behind us started to complain about their seating arrangements, and demanded to be moved. Due to the commotion and fuss caused by this party, we felt that our table had been completely forgotten about. The waitress said 15 minutes for pudding, but instead we were left waiting 50. Finally, my boyfriends brothers fiancée, got up to complain to a waitress who seemed completely unapologetic. We were offered our dessert for free, but after waiting 50 minutes for it to come, we were disinterested. The bill was an extortionate price for such an unfortunate experience. The worst part is, that it was Keith, my boyfriends fathers 67th birthday meal, which had been planned for a long time, and everyone was very excited for. After hearing such good reviews, I was intrigued to see what the restaurant was like, but unfortunately, doubt I will be returning.
Along with the terrible service received, I complained privately via Facebook messenger and email, but sadly received no reply. I sent a further email, attempting to get a reply, but again I had no such luck. I truly feel that Gatwick Manor do not care about their customers if they cannot apologise after a simple complaint. The fact that I still have no reply nearly 3 months on from my visit is the reason that I have decided to publicly post the bad review.

I booked a table for 15 people on the 28 th December for my birthday and I have to say the two waiters and waitress serving us were amazing, everything worked liked clockwork, such friendly people. I had a great birthday

Don't often leave a negative comment but this place needs to be avoided and ppl should know ;/ Decided to try the pub I pass everyday on my way to and from work and went for Sunday roast. It was the worst Sunday roast I ever had. Menu sounded tempting Sunday roast with 3 diferent meats and young potatoes in mint sauce yummy but they failed to inform us they no longer have those potatos and just served us with old greasy and tasteless potatoes. When complained was only apologised too without having the choice to choose anything diferent as the food already cold was in front of us. Very disappointing dish and service! Avoid !
