Nice clean airport with a free shuttle train service from North to South terminals. A selection of shops and bars and food shops. A train station to get into London and to the South West . Clean toilets and everything uou need if you have disability problems. The staff are helpful and informative. A good experience overall

Quite a swift airport to navigate through. Clean and has ground staff ready to direct and help. Tends to get a little congested but security search is quite swift.

London Gatwick Airport is the second-busiest airport in the United Kingdom and one of the busiest single-runway airports in the world. It is located in Crawley, West Sussex, England, approximately 30 miles south of Central London. Gatwick Airport has two terminals: North Terminal and South Terminal. The two terminals are connected by a free shuttle bus. The airport offers a wide range of amenities and services, including: * Shops: There are over 200 shops at Gatwick Airport, selling everything from designer clothes to souvenirs. * Restaurants: There are over 50 restaurants at Gatwick Airport, offering a variety of cuisines. * Bars: There are over 30 bars at Gatwick Airport, serving everything from coffee to cocktails. * Lounges: There are over 20 lounges at Gatwick Airport, where passengers can relax and unwind before their flight. * Other amenities: Gatwick Airport also has a number of other amenities, including ATMs, currency exchange bureaus, and a post office. Overall, Gatwick Airport is a large and modern airport with a wide range of amenities and services. It is generally less crowded and expensive than Heathrow Airport, but it is also further from Central London. **Pros:** * Wide range of amenities and services * Less crowded and expensive than Heathrow Airport * Good connections to London city center **Cons:** * Further from Central London than Heathrow Airport * Long security queues at peak times **Overall rating:** 4 out of 5 stars **Tips for travelers:** * Arrive early, especially if you are traveling during peak times. * Be prepared for long security queues at peak times. * If you are connecting to another flight, allow plenty of time to get from one terminal to another. * If you are on a budget, there are a number of affordable food and drink options available at the airport. * If you are looking for a more relaxing experience, consider using one of the airport lounges. **Additional notes:** * Gatwick Airport is a good choice for passengers who are looking for a less crowded and expensive alternative to Heathrow Airport. * The airport is well-connected to London city center by train and bus. * Gatwick Airport is also a major hub for budget airlines, such as easyJet and Ryanair.

One of the well organized airport I have ever seen. You can find there everything you need. Assistants very helpful everywhere. Clean and tidy. Easy access to the bus and train station will connect you with the whole UK. You know what? It's cool in winter, please more heating will be really appreciated.

Probably 1 of the best airports that I have used for years. Really good communication with train station 1 min linked to the south terminal, you would need the FREE 5 min shuttle to get to north terminal . Constant National buses stopping at south and north terminal. Also you have plenty of parking places , inside the airport and long stay parking with free bus. For departures in South Terminal , you would need to go to 1st floor, and use stairs/lift, the same with North Terminal. Make sure you bring your liquids max 100ml in a measure plastic bag for the security boarding as otherwise sometimes you would have to wait long time to be reviewed. They offer also special assistance by pressing the call button at the parking area.

Get there early as it can get very busy. We flew out of North Terminal therefore the below is for North Terminal. Security - is well worth paying the £5 in advance to skip the lines Check in - easy and fast Shopping - Good options from Harrods, Boos, Dune, WH Smith’s, Sports shop, Sunglass Hut, UK shops, great Duty free and many more Dining - Lots of options but during busy times expect to wait almost 45 min. Highly recommend Juniper & Co. Below scores are out of 10 😉 Customer Service   8 🙂 Food Quality   7.5 Its airport food so you know LOL 🙂 Atmosphere   6 🙂 Presentation   6 ✅ Wifi   Yes 🅿️ Parking:    Lots of paid parking available. Can be very expensive to park at LGW Overall   7 ⭐️

The Gatwick Airport South Terminal was pretty good, nothing to complain about. Fairly easy to get to, large and not cramped, a good selection of stores and cafes/restaurants. The Duty Free section was pretty good too. If you are a smoker then it won't be your favourite, a part from the smoking area outside at the front of the terminal there are no other smoking areas, keep that in mind.

Airport departure, through check-in, security and the boarding gates was very good. The valet parking was good although finding the valet park entrance without Google maps would be difficult, the signposting was not great.

Gatwick airport south terminal. Very easy to navigate through. Looked clean and organized. Lots of shops and restaurants. The gates re nice and very private and quiet. They are separate from the corridors so you can get a little bit of calm down time before your flight. I did not feel that the gates were too far away. The toilet should be more taken care of but are extra large so you might fit your luggage inside.
