Five stars go to the owner of the Authentic Indian Food in this pub. His food and customer service was ten times better than the new landlords (their hospitality is appalling, ive never met such unhappy landlords). How ever massive round of applause to the exceptionally lovely food i ate by the lovely owner of the Indian restaurant, which is situated around the other side of the pub. I will definitely be buying from him again.

My better half and I stumbled across this venue the other week when only outdoor seating was permitted. Had a pint and tried some of the Indian starters. Absolutely blown away by them so decided to return for a full on meal once indoors was open. So glad we did. I’m of Indian origin and I would say it was the best Indian meal, besides my mother’s, I have ever had in the UK in my life. That is high praise and definitely warranted. This is a relatively new venture and to that end the dining area is being slowly but surely brought up to par with the food. The dinning area is clean and functional but not particularly atmospheric, that is however all forgotten about when the food arrives. The chef takes great pride and on both occasions came to see us. He is very welcoming and has a great insight and wealth of experience in many types of cuisine. So I would throughly recommend this venue to eat and am already planning my next visit to try other dishes on the menu!

The food was outstanding, it's the best curry I have Had for a long time. All six meals one a burger 🍔 was very good. New landlords are doing their best and do hope they can keep up the charm and friendly appreciate. Hard times at this minute, a chilled slow down approach would help them make a success.
