Ended up here after a disaster at other pub in the area! So glad we did the atmosphere, staff & food were great! Will definitely return again when next up visiting our daughter! Thank you
Well, haven't been here for a few years, so popped in for a refreshment one Saturday afternoon. We were really surprised at how nice the pub and court yard was, it's nicely decorated and the menu on offer looked good, along with some exciting drink options. We popped to the court yard and it's been refurbished really nicely, with tables and chairs, sofa area, some of it is under cover so you won't get wet and there I a separate area for smokers. It was playing music in the background which was upbeat and made the atmosphere feel alive, large TV screens were also all around, so a win win for everyone, would definitely pop in again
Fantastic staff ,Lewis ,Carlene and dark haired girl with glasses l think was Stef were exemplary and a credit to your business ,Second time we have been and the food yet again was fantastic, so compliments to the Chief .
Great beer ,clean glasses and great decor 👍🏻 Can't wait for our next visit!
We recently celebrated our gender reveal at the Bear and hired a small section of the pub for our friends and family to help celebrate with us. The staff were lovely and happy to help considering how many there were of us! Over 25 of our guests ordered food that came out in less than 15 minutes and was delicious. The Manager even let us have that area free of charge which was even more amazing.
This is our local pub that we enjoy visiting regularly (especially since the refurb!) and we will continue coming back. The food and drinks are great, the atmosphere is brilliant. Would 100% recommend!

Been coming here for a while now, Artur and the team are amazing. Great atmosphere and the food is good and reasonably priced. Big shout out to Svet and the team they always make me and my family feel welcome, dog friendly too. The quiz on a Thursday is a good little night out. Highly recommend!!!!
Was only there for a short time and had only drinks. It was a nice and bubbly place.

This pub has improved massively. The inside is so lovely, and the selection of gins is great. Try the limited edition Hendrix (pink one). Sp floral amd tasty. Great staff as well! Reasonable prices too! £21 for 3 double gins and tonics. I could only guess how much would yhat be in London!
This is a family and pet friendly pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. There is private parking at the back of the pub. We paid for three hours and the amount was deducted from our bill.
Our party ordered pies with chips/mash, a burger and fish and chips. Everybody was happy with their order, but I particularly recommend the chicken and ham pie! The desserts were equally good and there is a decent variety of drinks to choose from.
Good value for what we had and would definitely visit again!
Fantastic pub. Had my wedding reception here. All the guests loved the food and the decor. The staff are the friendliest bunch you will ever meet. The DJ was fantastic and got everyone dancing. Thank you all for making our day special. Highly recommend!
The Bear and Ragged has been recently refurbished and is really well decorated. It's the perfect spot for drinks with the girls. The service is always quick and you can either order at the bar or from the comfort of your own seat. Really good value for money too.
I love going to the Bear and Ragged for drinks. It's got something for everyone, the decor is really pretty and they have great space outside to enjoy the weather in the summer. Service is always quick. It's nice and lively at the weekends.

The staff are are so friendly and wonderful! The drinks and food are up to an incredible standard and if there’s anything slightly wrong with anything, they’ll happily fix it in a heartbeat. Max is a wonderful team leader, extremely helpful and delivers phenomenal customer service!
We had a wonderful meal & experience with 9 family & friends on Monday. The service & food were outstanding and all staff were friendly and very welcoming. Lovely new decor and spotlessly clean. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone for a meal anytime of the day or night.
I haven’t been to this pub in a while but was pleasantly surprised. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. The new food menu is lovely and the choice of drinks is huge. Can’t wait to go back.
I highly recommend The Bear and Ragged Staff based on the exceptional service I received from Max, Paris and Alex while celebrating my husband’s birthday. Nothing was too much trouble and they all worked hard to ensure that day went well. The outdoor area at the Bear was a great venue to hold a small gathering and everyone in our group had a great time. Thank you so much for a great day.
Really great place to go for some drinks or to chill out during the day. On weekends a good place to go dance and party with events on Fridays and Saturdays!! The girl with the curles is very nice and can have a great conversation with customers.
What a fantastic pub!!! Food cooked to perfection- especially fish and chips - complements to chefs. Brilliant atmosphere all around. Well done guys!
