Just had my wedding reception here yesterday what an amazing day it was Dana and her staff were absolutely amazing they never stopped.
this date was booked over a year ago so afew weeks b4 hand we went through everything so they could make it our day nothing was too much trouble we did mither a bit lol we changed the table plan a few times even 8pm the night b4.
The room we hired looked amazjng set as we wanted in our colour scheme looked so good attention to every detail we had a wedding breakfast for 50 ppl 6 of them were kids they had kids meals plus 2 fussy guests every course came out hot well presented freshly cooked it was just lovley guest were stuffed by the end of it Dana did all the announcements speeches etc there staff couldnt do enough for us they made u feel welcome .
Night reception was set out just as good we had sweet and card table and hot food buffet the pulled pork was to dye for don't think there was any left we did bring in a dj that was our choice that was no bother at all
What can I say the price we paid u got ur money's worth plus a lot more this maybe a little hotel but to be treated the way we are there it was priceless this is my third wedding iv had the dead expencive stuff but nothing compairs to what you get here its the personal touch makes all the diffrence and I'd choose this venue every time we had a room it had everything we needed its not the ritzs but ya not paying there prices breakfast was lovley just what you needed start the day fresh cooked fry up plenty of cereal tea coffee juice .
The staff at waverly take pride in there job and it shows I would recommend them highly every time thank you so much for an amazing day we loved every minute xx
Yesterday was our first visit. It won't be our last.
The food was lovely , hot and freshly cooked.
The white onion soup was to die for , the meat and veg , cooked just right , but the chocolate and orange trifle was fabulous.
The staff were great and we weren't kept waiting even though they were busy.
All in all , excellent!!
We had a great Mothers day lunch...good quality well cooked food in lovely surroundings warm friendly staff....as a family we always come here, we have never been disappointed!
Visited on Sunday for lunch. Really enjoyed our meals. Proper home cooked food, large portions and even did chips for our little fussy eater. Great value for money. We had 2 course which was £8.50. Will definitely be visiting again.
I stayed for just one night last night, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, my room was comfortable and clean. I'm not fussed about decor being dated so long as it's clean. My breakfast was very nice and there was a good selection of cereals, fruit etc. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stopover.

Great budget hotel, stayed with my 2 sons in family room, was clean and all we needed.
The fire light was most bright though and kept us awake.. bed was a bit soft for me, but everything else including the breakfast was fine.
A great place to stay, so close to the station, loads of restaurants and takeaways. The staff were very warm and friendly, allowed me to check-in early. Had a good proper breakfast. The bed was comfortable had a good nights sleep and the linen was fresh. The building was clean, however not brand new, that doesn't bother me, the soap was luxury. I felt at home, I will definitely Be coming back.
Good honest budget hotel. Bed a bit soft for us but that is personal taste.

Thanks to The Waverley for being there when my train was stopped at Crewe. Very near station. Comfortable room. Quiet. Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Good value.
Stayed here 1 night. Nice and clean, staff really helpful and tasty breakfast in the morning. 5 minutes walk from Crewe station, very convenient.
We stayed for 4 nights. It was a perfect hub for us visiting Liverpool, Jodrell Bank and Nantwich being so near the train station and convenient for main roads. We stayed in the family apartment which is separate from the main hotel but only a few yards to go to breakfast. The accommodation is basic but adequate for us, it's like Air BnB with the actual breakfast provided by the hotel.There was a bit of noise from a band at the pub around the corner on Saturday night, but the kids slept through it .The hotel is a bit " tired" but not as tired as the rest of Crewe! The hotel staff were friendly, the breakfast was great and good value if you book your room via the hotel website. I would definitely use again if the apartment was available .
Brilliant hotel the big twin room and it was perfect can't fault the staff they were amazing and the breakfast was spot on definitely staying here again for our next weekend away

Rooms very basic but clean, fabulous comfy beds, beautiful breakfast, staff lovely, quiet but strange location, only real criticism is, if you are going to sell bottles of wine for double the price you purchase it for, at least take the Retail Selling Price off the bottle !!!!!!!
Only thing let my stay down was the location of the room. Outside with metal stairs. Gave me anxiety as my legs aren't that good. Didnt feel safe as you could see through them.

The staff were very friendly & served the food quickly. We had generous portions & the food was hot & very good. Definitley go again. Thank you to all the staff.
Went for a wedding reception. Food was lovely. Main problem that a lot of us had was ordering a drink that had lemonade. It came out of a big bottle that was warm and flat. For the cost they could have had it cold.
We hired the event room for a small gathering after my Nanna's funeral. The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was beautifully presented and was perfect for us. The food was really tasty, with really good portion sizes. I would definitely recommend the Waverley for anyone looking for room hire. I cannot comment on the hotel room side of it, but I know that we really got our money's worth!
