Discovered this little gem about a month ago and have been back twice since then already. The food is delicious and the service is excellent too! I have had lunch, Sunday lunch and breakfast here so far, and every time I have had fantastic food and friendly service. Well done to Kieren and the whole team. It is wonderful to find a local place that has such a nice location, good atmosphere, that uses really good quality ingredients, has a great chef, a great menu and great staff! The pricing of the menu is spot on as well. Bravo! It is so good that I actually debated leaving this review, it could get very crowded if word got out how good The Moorings is!

We sat outside on a hot and sunny day. Nice setting next to the canal. It was about 5pm and we both ordered a burger - a Loaded and a Double Moorings Burger - with fries, as we wanted a quick early evening meal. The burgers were some of the tastiest we’ve had (and believe me we’ve had more than a few!!). They arrived quickly and the service was very friendly and efficient. There was plenty of choice on the menu and we want to go back when we’re not just passing through to try some of the other dishes.

Called in for the first time today and absolutely love this place. The food, I had the belly pork, was superb. Will definitely be back as the staff are friendly and the menu choice is amazing.

My partner and myself had lunch last week, the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. My partner was taking part in the #waterbikecollective in which you peddle a water bike on the canal and collect litter/rubbish as you go. I Walked the canal side with our dog clearing and litter along the way. We had stopped here for a well earned rest and refuel. On trying to pay the bill they wouldn’t accept a penny! Thank you guys so much! Just a shame we live so far away or we’d make it our local

Great Sunday lunch, good beer. Under great pressure with all the show customer's but service was excellent. Thank you. From the residents of the Duck Boat.

Great place to stop for a breakfast on our bike ride. Had a VIP breakfast which stands for Vegetarian Important Person.. was easy to make vegan. All food looked good and they were happy to fill our drinks bottles with water for our return ride home. Great.

Just spent the weekend in Crick at the Crick Boat Show. Lovely to see the narrowboats moored next to the pub. Lovely setting. Food was fab especially tapas and fruits de mer. Chips huge. All staff were very helpful and friendly especially on an extremely busy weekend. Highly recommended.
