Very good Italian restaurant in Crieff. We were recommended to Delivino by our B&B hosts who even dropped us off there on a Thursday evening at 8:15pm. Unfortunately their kitchen closes (as do many in Crieff Monday to Thursday) at 8:00pm! Jamie the owner was so apologetic, he recommended us to a number of other restaurants in Crieff who he thought might still be open and said would we please book in for the next evening (Friday) so he could show us what he could do. We did and it was worth it. I had red mullet with piquino sauce (whatever that is!) and rosemary sauté potatoes with samphire. Mrs G had a goat's cheese pizza with onion marmalade and anchovies - thin crust. All very nice washed down with a glass of house wine. Drink driving laws in Scotland are much tougher than in England so we couldn't risk a whole bottle from their attractive wine list. (That's why our hosts had dropped us off the previous evening so we could relax over a bottle having driven up from the midlands. Unfortunately on the Friday we had to drive ourselves!)
The place was full and buzzing with families and groups of all ages. (More couples and smaller adult groups after 7:30pm.) Clearly very popular and booking in advance is highly recommended. Would definitely go back next time we're up there.
I used to live in Crieff and can honestly say Delivino is the best place to eat, drink, have a coffee and catch up with friends- hands down!!! I currently live in Melbourne and have also lived in Edinburgh, Delivino would still have to be one of my favourite restaurants.
What a great Italian restaurant. Food was superb. Service on the money. We had a lovely night with the family. Food and drinks really nice great flavours and good quality food. If you are in Crieff don’t miss out. Was nearly full so best to book so you don’t miss out. We are all happy tonight and can’t wait to be back
Had the special BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza & King Prawn Linguine - very delicious! Will definitely come again for its pizza and pasta. Staff is very friendly and nice dine in environment.
An amazing dinner at Delevino on the last night of our holiday. The lighting, ambience, and cozy corner table just added to the experience. Service was very friendly and speedy and there were plenty of delicious choices on the menu
We opted for Olives and focaccia to share (the olive marinade was lush!) followed by mushroom Gnocchi and a tiramisu and chocolate fondant for dessert. All was absolutely delicious, especially the gnocchi! We left absolutely stuffed and hoping to come back soon.
A lovely wee place in the heart of Crieff. The menu is interesting, with enough choice to satisfy everyone. The lady who served us was amazing. She was singlehandedly running the whole dining area, which was really impressive. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. The place was a bit too quiet, as there was no background music playing. Overall, it is worth visiting when in the area.
It's been a while since I've written a review, but after visiting The Delivino restaurant in Crieff it became clear to me that it was time to dust off my keyboard and write one.
Myself, my partner and my in-laws visited Crieff for the afternoon, travelling from Leslie, in Fife. We stopped a friendly looking passer-by on the High Street and asked him if he could reccomend somewhere we could go for a nice lunch. Without hesitation, he advised us to go to The Delivino and pointed us in the general direction. We were so pleased he did.
If I was to sum up the experience in a word, it would be 'perfection'.
First we were warmly welcomed in and guided to a table of our choice. Next, perfectly timed, a waitress came over to us, first, to take a drinks order then shortly after to take a food order. It goes without saying, her attentiveness and timing was impeccable and she was very warm and friendly. On that note, let's get onto the food. That word again - perfection. The four of us were very pleased with our meals, they were all very tasty, well presented and cooked to absolute perfection.
The service throughout was also perfect. A perfect amount of time was given to decide on drinks and menu items - not too long, not too rushed.
The waiters and waitresses glided around, always being available but never appearing to encroach on our peace and space and their manner was always warm, subtle and thoroughly focussed on the diners.
As I said, if I was to sum it up in one word, the word would be 'perfection'. We will definitely return.
We had a wonderful dinner at Delivino at Crieff. The atmosphere was really busy but it never gave me any concern. The food was wonderful and in particular the cod & nduju fish cakes and the avacado pate to start. Also would recommend the braised beef cheeks, absolutely delicious. Also they cater if you are a gluten allergy or are a full coeliac and you need have no worry.
Relaxed 'deli dining' with fantastic service. So much to choose from on the menu that we opted to share lots of little plates so we could try more! They didn't disappoint! Highly recommend a visit!
What great staff, especially the lady with the polka dot dress, so charming. The food was delicious and was more than delighted when the bill came: a very reasonable price for a top class meal 💗
Wonderful, quaint and cozy restaurant that’s nestled in the center of Crieff. The menu didn’t offer the usual Italian fare, but rather lighter and creative options. The from scratch pizza was light and topped with quality toppings. I had the mushroom soup and a beet, bean salad both light and flavorful. The toffee sticky pudding was not light but delicious. Service was prompt and polite. We will be back.
Very attentive and friendly service throughout our meal. Tiger prawn linguine was fabulous and the chocolate fondant with raspberry sorbet finished the meal in style. Would highly recommend both dishes.
