Had lunch here today with my wife and our niece.Went here as a result of reading the reviews on tripadvisor. Well I have to say this lettle cozy restaurant certainly lives up to its ratings. My wife had the chicken supreme. They both said it was absolutely delicious. The amount of chicken was amazing and the sauce was rich and creamy. The dish was really flavoursome. It came with a side dish of lovely hot selection of vegetables. I had the cottage pie. Wow what a really big portion of lovely mince covered in a tasty mash and toasted cheese. al served with a selection of vegetables and new potatoes. The meat was tender and lovely and juicy. No wonder Brownes is popular. A brilliant lunch, will visit again. Also what a really good selection there is on the menu, something for all tastes I think.

Extraordinarily good value for money, three of us agree. Outstandingly good coffee, all three agreed. Food cooked to order, so be prepared for a leisurely lunch. All three of us looking forward to a return visit.

Visited Browne's today as a bit of a treat and we weren't disappointed. We ordered the mushroom pate sandwich and the halloumi with roasted vegetable sandwich. Unfortunatley they had run out of mushroom pate. The staff however went out to get some but it wasn't available. Instead my wife had the avocado, hummus and olive tapinade but as a sandwich rather than a bagel (and was very pleased with this - would order it again). This was very enjoyable, my sandwich was very filling with plenty of flavours. The restaurant was very smart and clean and considering it is mid January in Cromer, very busy. I suggest you book a table at the height of summer. Overall a very nice experience.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch here while on holiday in Cromer as a family. We are vegetarian and enjoyed veg sausages, mash and onion gravy. The staff were friendly and helpful, easily adjusting my toddler’s order to her allergies and also preferences.

Followed the advice of other reviewers and was not disappointed. A little tucked away from the main streets but well worth finding. Great staff and service and a very welcoming breakfast.

Having a walkabout in Cromer and fancied a cream tea. Massive pot of tea for two with extra hot water and a fruit scone and cheese scone that we both said was amazing Lovely place really well priced and great quality

Found this gem on Google maps. Fantastic service and absolutely amazing lunches. Food was freshly prepared and very well presented. The salad with mixed cheeses was awesome - enough cheese for a week, with new potatoes, salad and trimmings. The grilled halloumi with roasted veg was also great. Nice to have tea served in a pot, with extra hot water and cups and saucers - beats all the take away cups. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. Just as importantly, we were made very welcome by all staff. It appeared to be a family run cafe that attracted a lot of regular locals but also welcomed us visitors. The building is quaint, including the courtyard and outdoor privy! There was outdoor seating that would be good in the summer. All very clean and well appointed. Would definitely visit again. I wish I'd taken some photos of the food to post here - but it looked so delicious we just tucked in. It was about £19 for two lunches and tea for two.

Another first class meal in this family run restaurant. The bread and butter pudding was the best I have ever eaten.

Pleasant cafe in a quiet location, not far from Cromer beach. Handy parking spaces outside with 30 minutes free parking. I found it a bit pricey but then it was the first place I went to...

Visited for lunch based on the many positive reviews. Needs searching out being up a side street near the church. Well worth it though. Small dining area but acceptable. Interesting menu plus specials board. Good service of drinks and meals. Interesting toilet facilities but ok. Well worth a visit.

Food was excellent with Crab savoury attracting full marks from fellow quests. The ploughmans is quite the best I have ever seen. Visiting in high season meant a rather long wait for our food but worth waiting for.

I was delighted to find this very nice tea room in Cromer, Having passed it several times when it was very busy I found it quiet as lunch was over I only wanted a cup of tea. There are table cloths and slips all very clean. a cosy place, a courtyard garden with tables and chairs, pretty flowers. My tea was a tray of pretty matching china complete with a hot water jug and a large cookie. served with smiles and chat. I decided to have a toasted teacake, this was large heavily fruited and served with a generous portion of curled butter perfect for spreading. All in all a very nice experience.I look forward to going again and sampling their varied menu.

We have returned over the years to enjoy the well prepared food. We enjoyed our food today but were struck by how slow it all took to serve a main course and a dessert. Whilst meals are prepared from scratch an hour and half is too long. We wondered if the standard menu offer and a long list of specials is unrealistic to sustain and unnecessary. Perhaps the hot weather didn't help.

We stopped here looking for a tea for the kids. The owner kindly let us be the last customers of the day. The food was just what we needed, and the owner was very friendly. We are going to go back for definite.

Had lunch at Browns for the first time this week, Did not want the usual sea-side fish and chip meal. I had checked the menue out on trip advisor befor this visit. What a nice place this is, Food is excelant, fresh and butifully prepaired. We will be back thats for certain, You have to remember that all meals are prepaired on order, so dont expect 2 minuets after order it appears, its not that sort of place. Run by two very nice people. 5 stars.

A nice little stop for lunch. We mainly tried the crab sandwiches which were nice. Not thickly filled but ok as was the little pots of coleslaw and beetroot. A nice touch. Coffee was good.
