They do GLUTEN FREE battered fish. We been served by two nice young ladies. They cooked fish for order, so it little waiting time. Be aware portion sizes are big.
Best Fish&Chip shop ever! Our two boys are coeliac, their kids portions at £4 are huge and they did gluten free ones for our boys at no extra charge, many other places charge extra. Took my two teenagers who gave the chicken nuggets and chips a thumbs up. I had small fish and chips which was plenty. Actually pretty good, fresh cooked chips which is always nice.
Very friendly staff, fish cooked fresh to order. Very generous helpings! Small but comfortable cafe area with a couple of benches outside too, but only a few steps away from a quiet little park
Always had a fantastic meal here - can't praise it highly enough. Even better now the curry sauce is gluten-free (you wouldn't know unless you were told) and has a slightly bigger "kick"
Great fish and chips, friendly service and nice place to eat in. That there are gluten-free choices is a massive plus.
They have haddock, great, lots of peas and all in a card box none of that horrible polystyrene that can't be recycled and exists in the environment for 100 years plus after 10 minutes use!

Yet again Tuesday, had a Large haddock chips, and a pot of tea, a banquet of a meal, fantastic service,with a smile, and memorable food, to the young ladies ,who cooked and presented it thank you.
Love this place, food was amazing, price couldnt be beaten in matlock, im from London and been Matlock many times. I will always go here for food, 2 ladies served us with warm affection and very friendly, thanks girls x
