A pub with local and contemporary character - in a beautiful village with a caring community. Traditional Sunday lunch could not have been better (half portion photographed - full had double meat and delicious roast potatoes) - congrats to the team!
Popped in after a walk in the lakes and they managed to squeeze us in on a table. The service was spot on, never without food or a drink. I can't believe this is pub grub, it's the best I've ever had! The food is like you're being served in a popular restaurant. I had the plant burger, oh my! It's the best plant burger I've ever had!
