Called in whilst on a (motor) bike ride with my lad. Reasonably busy for early Saturday afternoon. Nice snug atmosphere, warm welcome and a cold crisp pint. Sat outdoors and had a natter with the locals..... will be calling in again.

Dog friendly real ale pub. Landlord, John and landlady, Elaine are brilliant hosts. Brilliant outdoor seating area, children's play area and Sunday afternoon singer. Real fires and cosy in winter. Highly recommend
Went in Christmas eve 6adults and 2children very good atmosphere and friendly we only went in for a drink so not sure about food
Good country pub with Great choice of real beers and Lagers and a large outdoor seating area.
They don't serve food but you can order a takeaway pizza from the Italian opposite and the landlord is happy for you to eat it in the beer garden.

Great little village pub. My Daughter and Son-in-law will soon be residing in Croston so they are very blessed. Good band on too. Started off with 'Hotel California' and carried on from there.
Quality ales. Very good selection. Lovely pub.
