Sir Julian Huxley - Croydon - Photo album

Big enough to have decent space from other customers, Friendly staff, Not as noisy as some other Weatherspoons, Food is very decent Prices are good. We come here almost every weekend for breakfast or lunch as a family of 3 and we love it.
A very clean and well organised spoons…stopped in for a breakfast …was hot and very quickly served …staff were very efficient …tables and area really clean and the bar was well presented …even got a proper pint glass with my beer ..
Very nice example of the Wetherspoons. Nice friendly staff and clean toilets. There’s a beer / smoking garden at the rear. Use the app to order if you don’t fancy queuing at the bar. Refillable tea/coffee for £1.49
Lovely little pub tucked away Surrey south of Croydon. Only accessible by train/tram and bus, it's not the easiest spoons to get to but I would say it was worth the effort. Curious place with an art deco bar and plenty of seating available. A large skylight helps keep that part of the pub nice and b
The Huxley is a great pub. Like most Wetherspoons, the food and drink are priced to be affordable and offer great value. The staff are a great bunch and it is a well-run and welcoming venue for all ages and demographics. My only gripe is that the aircon blows icy cold, seemingly even on cold days, a
I had been here three times. The food is good with reasonable prices. The waiters/waitresses were very friendly and always checked if everything is alright. I recommend this place for anyone who want to hangout with friends. However, I do not try any alcohol beverages yet.
I didn't try the food unfortunately but the selection of real ales was fab! £1:79 for a pint of Abbot Ale! There's a choice of around 10 different Ales at very low prices. The garden downstairs allows smoking too. It was busy but because it's a big pub there were still some tables available. Definit
Another place from the same chain. Good ambience, quiet. Service is cold but correct. It is a place to grab a quick bite and a beer.
This is a typical no nonsense Wetherspoons pub! Inexpensive beers, wine & food, a trek to the toilets and a very lively atmosphere. A visit to the bar which nearly always has a queue, although staff are jovial and pleasant when serving.
The usual Wetherspoon fare in a rather unusual setting. There is a main bar and big side room and a small conservatory. There is also a very nice sheltered garden area
As an ex member of Wetherspoon's staff I can say that this is the best team ive seen in a long time. I have worked with Owen in the past, he always run a tight ship. His bar staff are great and engaging, his kitchen team get food out within the Golden 10 minutes, he has one member of staff dedicated
As good as it gets when it comes to breakfast, polite and friendly service.
Seemed a bit understaffed tonight and noticed a lovely young lady was working so hard and seemed to be the only waitress. Alex brought over our drinks, (i asked her name) and she was so friendly and upbeat, smiley and a credit to Weatherspoons. Please get more staff or this young lady may not stay m
Service is outstanding really helpful, kind, staff. Safe happy environment for elderly, people with learning disabilities, couples , np matter the gender, you are welcome.
Nice pub, good pricing. Food is OK, it’s only a small kitchen so limited in capacity. Most of the staff are friendly but there a certain staff member who was very rude.
