I visited the restaurant Frankie & Benny's has in Croydon for the first time yesterday, and I must say it has been a very pleasant experience in all aspects. From the very first moment I put my feet in the restaurant, staff has provided an excellent customer service, especially Moni, who was the one who assisted us during dinner. Her politeness and permanent smile on her face was an excellent start for our first time at the restaurant.
Frankie and Benny's menu is also great. You have a great variety of starters, mains and desserts that makes it difficult to choose only one.
Portions are quite generous and the price I paid for dinner is perfectly balanced with the quality of food I had.
In conclusion, a first experience that will be the first of many more I will do in future. It is totally worth.

The excellent meal is served in a pleasant setting.
We had one of the nicest well-done steaks we'd ever tasted.
We certainly will return.
Thank you to the entire staff, especially Fabiana, for the helpful suggestions.

Frankie and Benny's is a fantastic restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. It's been know that one of the standout features of this restaurants is the quality of their food. The back ribs and spaghetti dish at Frankie and Benny's sounds like a hearty and satisfying meal. The combination of tender, meaty back ribs with a savory tomato-based sauce over spaghetti is sure to please those who love classic Italian-American flavors. But what really impressed me was the restaurant's innovative payment system. They offer the ability to pay through your phone, which was so convenient and easy to use. This made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable, as I didn't have to wait around for the check or worry about splitting the bill with my friends. Highly recommended!

This is a classic style American diner which is nicely decorated. This time we ordered:
Blue Cheese Burger – strong flavour, the cheese goes very well with the burger meat! We loved it.
Slow Cooked Beef Pizza – a bit too salty and not crunchy enough
Milkshake – looks dazzling, tastes great too
Flat White – normal coffee at affordable price
We would come back again.

I very much enjoyed my experience. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The food tasted very good, but was a bit pricey. I had a gift card so it wasn't too bad, but as a treat I wouldn't mind spending the money. Overall, it was a great meal.

Great meal at F&B, Valley Park, Croydon. Nice restaurant. Lots of parking. We chose unlimited soft drinks, which was good value for money. Our food choices included starters of garlic bread & potato skins. Mains of cheeseburger & fries, pepperoni pizza & hot dog & fries. Desserts were chocolate brownie with cream & ice cream. A really good meal, which we all enjoyed.

One of the better places to eat at Valley Park in Purley, Croydon. Even though we had not booked & were turned away at another restuarant, the staff at Feankie & Bennie's still found us a table to sit at. From the start the service was really good & the tables were cleaned before we sat down. The food was excellent & hot & arrived quickly. Our server Kasia B was really attentive and looked after us well. She even gave us good suggestions on what to have. I must say that we enjoyed ourselves & will defo be coming back again & also suggest Feankie & Bennie's to family & friends. 👍👌😁🍹💥
Once more had a great evening at Frankie & Benny's. Friendly staff & great food 👍👌😁

Great place and food was lovely. Ribs with BBQ glaze very tasty.
One word of advice, if you have bluelight card they no longer accept it so you will have to show NHS ID in order to get discount.

Very good service and good for big groups. It does get quite busy of a Saturday night!
I’d order the chicken and prawn Alfredo pasta again, very generous portion. I wouldn’t recommend the buffalo Mac and cheese bites, nothing special in my opinion.

Me and my family ate here today. It was crowded, as usual, but the staff were very accommodating. The staff are amazing, even though it was completely packed up, not once did you see any of them look tired. They really do a remarkable job and are always cheerful and helpful. It's always service with a smile. Definitely the best staff. I hope they are paid well.
The food is very tasty and the prices are very reasonable. Portions are very generous.
Eat here is you want to have tasty food served by amazing staff.

What an amazing experience coming to Croydon Frankie & Benny's, our waiter, Lazer, was not only very funny but was very attentive to our needs.
The food was 1st class and of very good quality, meaning it was worth every penny spent.
I would recommend this as a lovely place to have a meal with friends, a loved one or even the children.
The assistant manager, Szintia, was so warm, welcoming, a pleasant approach, with a glowing smile and very presentable.

Traditional American Diner experience. A selection of some Gluten free menu options in addition to the expected favourites you might expect from an American diner type restaurant. Wasn't too busy when I visited on a Tuesday evening so service was quite attentive and prompt with the waiting staff checking in on me regularly to make sure I was happy with everything and if I needed anything else in the meantime.

So as a top reviewer with over 52,000picture reviews let's get into this restaurant.
Great place for well cooked food, these people know how to cook ✌️ was served by a great waiter I believe his name was Lass but don't hold me to that.
Food takes around 15mins from order time to the table. Food is nice, really well presented.
Run down of what to expect in terms of price for 4 people, 4 adult main meals and 4 adult deserts plus 4 drinks you'll be looking around £100
But I do feel due to the manor of which I was delighted with and given, that it's definitely worth it as all the other chains around valley park are terrible for money in comparison.
As you all know valley park is very busy everyday, even at night so make sure you park close as people do mess around in the car parks.. mainly teenage scum of Croydon🤣 yeah you did hear that correctly
Suggested times I'd say 12pm - 3pm or 7pm - 10pm
Suggestions for food try their Pizza and their burgers.. their chips are amazing perfect Everytime.

The vegan mozzarella pizza was 10000000/10 and the the vegan choc chip with hot cookie dough covered in chocolate sauce and honeycomb pieces was the best dessert I’ve ever tasted i rate that 100000000000000000000000000000000000000/10

I've been here twice now, once last autumn and recently on the 19th January. Both times it was quiet evening so I can't speak to what it's like when busy, but I enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff were friendly, and the wait was too good (starters, mains, & dessert within about an hour). Great milkshakes, cocktails, and burgers! Love coming here and would recommend it.

I went with my family for dinner. We had a wonderful time there with nice food and amazing cocktails are server (young man) was lovely and very helpful with our needs.
I absolutely come back.

Gave my child who has celiacs disease a pork burger from the breakfast menu instead of a gluten free beef burger. Very unhappy and staff couldn’t really careless. Don’t waste your money.

Where to start! This is Croydon valley park restaurant. Went for lunch with family. Started ok got drinks and starters then half way through starters they brought up mains. Half of which wasn't what we ordered and the waitress stood there and argued with us over this. Eventually once she'd finished arguing she took some of the plates away on wrong mains and some starters then literally 30 secs later we had our meals back at table. Mine still wasn't right but got to the point where so fed up couldn't argue anymore plus because we got it inbetween starters none of us finished our mains as too bloated! We did complain to another waiter and got a whole 20% off our bill and what was even funnier was he said hope to see you soon! never. This was our 2nd bad experience so never again!

lovely food with a lovely atmosphere.... would have been 5 star but the service was quite slow and for the prices portions could have been a bit better but over all lovely food. my kids lived their kids meals and the fact they have bigger kid portions is amazing! delish defo recommend

Waited 50 minutes for our starter, then our main course came out and well to be honest I would have got a nicer chicken burger over at McDonald's. Such a shame as it could be a lovely place and the only thing that saved me from really complaining was the poor waitress, who looked over worked, stressed and embarrassed. Sadly we will never go again.

Was a lovely calm atmosphere our waiter was really good with us and the lil one in our party food was really yummy and was very impressed with the desserts and the kiddys tray of milk bottled toppings with their ice cream for three quid wow will come again

Awful food, this place was great for a meal and a drink years ago.
The food tasted like burnt oil!!!!

Tired to complain on your site but can’t submit as do not have my receipt number. Very helpful. Ate lunch at Kingston branch on Wednesday. One waitress for whole restaurant meaning v slow service, hungry children & stressful for everyone. Bar waitress refused to help with one query when I asked even though no bar customers. Manger arrived, sat at a table and watched the whole mess without helping this one poor waitress. Awful.

Service was poor, food was ok however some portion sizes were super small

It was our anniversary, so thought we would do a meal and cinema. I've had burgers before so thought we would try something different. What a mistake. We ordered two steaks. Mine was dry and my partners was so chewy. We had to return it for another. The next one came out a bit raw. But still chewy. We told the waitress we were not happy and asked for the bill. Not going back to Valley Park Frankie and Bennys ever again

It was great service however the food was a bit lacking in taste.
I couldn't taste the cheese in my fish cakes. The burger my daughter had wasn't great. The garlic bread was more like a garlic loaf. The meatballs were burnt and reheated not freshly prepared. It's a shame because we really like it there normally.

Ordered by Uber eats. Food was cold and tasteless. Pasta was stodgy and stuck together. Think I would have got a better meal out of a value ready meal. Won’t be ordering again!

Average food not a big difference although I had past great experience.

Good place to have dinner with family. They do deals which include side and main or main and dessert for £10 during the week. Don’t remember the price correctly though. Anyway its better to go during the week to avoid crowds.

It's a casual joint and not one of the fine dining ones wherein you would just walk in to grab a bite. When we reached, tha place was packed and here was a wait of 15 minutes. We finally got the table after 10 minutes of wait which was a good start. We placed an order for a pizza and a pasta and a couple of beers. The food took around 45 minutes to arrive which made us a bit impatient and TBH, both the dishes were pretty average. For me there was nothing special about the place. My wife insisted that we go to pizza express which is bang opposite this joint but I wanted to try a new place where we haven't been before hence popped down to this one.
No plans of going back again as there are likes of pizza express in the same complex which definitely serve great pizzas.

Not keen on this place. Disappointing burger!

As part of a friend's birthday celebration, I was invited to a meal in Frankie & Benny's. We were a large group of around 6 - 8 people and the staff easily managed to sort out a group table for us right in the middle of the restaurant.

My friend, whose been to Franky & Benny's before, suggested that I try the warm garlic dough balls as a starter. You get around 4 - 6 dough balls in a portion and they provide you with pots of garlic paste. I have to say that I was absolutely addicted to their garlic paste and the dough balls tasted amazing once dipped in them, I definitely recommend getting it as a starter!

I then ordered the classic steak and chips which was around £12, so cheap and cheerful. I like my steak medium rare and they were pretty bang on. It's not the best steak I have ever had but for that price it wasn't bad at all.

We decided that we wanted to surprise the birthday boy and privately asked the staff if they could help us out. They assured us that they will do something while our desserts were being prepared. Next thing we know, the music in the restaurant changed to a cheesy birthday song and they brought out a slice of cake with a lit candle and encouraged all of us to sing along.

It really was a good experience for all of us and especially for the birthday boy. I have been to Frankie & Benny's on multiple occasions after that and my only suggestion is that, if you are going with a large group of family members then avoid weekends, as the waiting times can be very long. However, (if you ask nicely) staff members may happily take down your number and give you a call when they got a table ready for you. This gives you a chance to stay away from the packed out restaurant and enjoy a game of pool or air hockey, next door in the Arcade.

I love frankie and benny's. We went here for a friends birthday and we had a great night.
The staff are poliet, freindly and dont get flustered with meal changes. Toilets were very clean!!
Prices average about £20 per person not including alcohol. The portions are quite big and each one is very yummy.
Great place to go with friends, for a birthday dinner or with your partner.

Been here a few times, service is always polite, although at breakfast they are never under pressure as there are so few people but £5 for a good variety of breakfasts is something to try if you have the time and are near enough.
The poached eggs, both in the three poached eggs on toast and the eggs benedict could have been cooked a little longer but on the whole they were ok.
You can get unlimited tea and coffee refills for £1:50 which is not bad...as long as you are a tea and coffee fan

Hot chocolate not hot enough. Nice quite place to have a weekday breakfast treat

I went here a week ago, I had and it was yummy and I can not fault it. I was happy with the service all round.
