Saravana Bhavan - Croydon - Photo album

A decent authentic Indian place! Has all pretty much all the popular vegetarian dishes from south India and some north. A tiny bit expensive but worth it as it is not easy to get good authentic Indian food outside places like East ham and Southhall in London. Their filter coffee is the best! Must tr
This is a good place to bring vegetarians to (their meat dishes very good too). I've only encountered annoying vegetarians and so i steer well clear of vegans. I remember telling African children that lived in absolute poverty what being vegan meant and they didn't understand it.
The usual Saravana bhavan ... good Indian food especially South Indian ..... tried dosas , idli , Vada all were good , North Indian thali was ok but the gulab jamun was awesome ... it was busy but the service was quick so overall good .... this one is also near to the east Croydon railway station ..
It's a place where every Indians will be happy apart from home country on seeing best Hotel Saravana Bhavan spread wide across many countries to have awesome food which is alike home based dishes and much more.Tasty depends on dishes and way of doing and quality of products.we had mixed vegetable p
Sarvana Bhavan is one of my favorite south indian restaurant chains. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough - they have an excellent variety of food and it is very authentic. My friend and I had their Mysore dosa and paratha with korma. It was really - it is mildly spicy but I really like that. I
Very nice south indian vegetarian food. It was the first time we tried this restaurant and the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was very quiet as people are still staying away from town centres and restaurants etc.
Out of all Saravana Bhavan's I tried in London, this one stands tall but shame they have consistently failed in service department. Located on busy George street, it is very easy to get past this place without really noticing the restaurant as it has really narrow opening and unappealing feeling fr
After recommendations I came to this vegetarian South Indian speciality restaurant and was not disappointed. They have a separate Vegan menu available, And the waiter gave recommendations as I didn't know what many of the options were. His correction was right! The dosa was so large! Everything was
Pure vegetarian restaurant in Croydon, it is usually very busy on weekends, food is tasty, thier Chennai style coffee is very famous
Well another Saravana Bhavan added to the list of places I have visited. What more can I ask for than a nice and heavy meal :) I would definitely suggest the Ghee Dosa. One drawback is that the Batter which is used to make Idly feels a bit hard and so does the Vada! Other than that the Dosa items a
Good and authentic South Indian taste. Friendly staff. Recommended.
Food is fine, considering its reputation not upto mark. I have had south Indian meals and rice combos, wasn't impressed much. Will try breakfasts next time on.
Finally a South Indian restaurant in Croydon, having grown up eating at Sarvana Bhavan in india great to see it on the high street. Good food in a clean and trendy restaurant.
I love Saravana Bhavan. As well as Croydon you will find it in other countries where I first tried it. However the Croydon branch has chocolate dosas. Will be back for more food because it is so delicious.
Wonderful, delicious Indian veg food no fuss. Also has a Jain menu.
