So we’re sat in the market tavern, a little hungry and they’ve closed their kitchen and all I can see is La Ugo, I say to missus watch if you see anyone go in or out of the place as that’s usually a sign of a good place. Anyways we didn’t but hungry so we cut our losses and went there. Oh my god, I don’t ever want to go anywhere else! This is the one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!!! The staff were ridiculously friendly and accommodating and the pizza was so tasty! Just ignore their printing issue they will do you any pizza! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!
I have used Taste Max a few times now since it opened and never had any negative experience. Genuinely cannot believe some of the 1 star reviews.
Service is always warm and with a smile and the food is as expected. Lovely and great when out with the family.

Im picky about how my takeaway pizza’s are cooked and Taste Max Pizza just does it for me, Tops pizza made me throw up! Taste Max’s Pizza has gone down well, VERY tasty and they do a nice window deal of a 7” for 2.50 whenever I'm in town for a collection, this ladies and gentlemen is a standard great quality take away pizza resteraunt and I back all the positive comments here as a Pizza Specialist myself, go on ahead’ n’ Order
Pleasantly surprised by how good this pizza was, the garlic sauce was also excellent. We we weren’t expecting a 2am pizza order to be so delicious!
Seriously great pizza. The flavour and quality of ingredients. The base is super! Flavoursome and tasty with generous topping.
The restaurant didn't have an item on the menu I'd ordered, they called to let me know before and offered an alternative.
Unfortunately, the pizza arrived as if the delivery person had played handball with it. I'm certain it wasn't the restaurant? Such a shame.

The best pizza place in Croydon with no doubt! I’ve tried so many different pizza take aways during lockdown even high ranked restaurants but nothing compares to this! Perfect light, crusty dough, good quality ingredients and it’s affordable. Definitely will be ordering again!
Really good pizza! The guys were also very friendly, we had a bit of an odd request but they did it perfectly. Will definitely order from them again! Actually we are about to order now😊
