Busy and really lovely pub in the country. Has a beautiful garden with a play area. I wish they'd include more vegetarian/vegan options. The nut roast on Sunday was lovely and filling. Amazing pudding options..

Called in during a cycle ride. Brilliant stop- over. Excellent sandwiches with ample choice. Friendly and welcoming staff and a real bonus to find a pub of this quality open for lunch in the week.
Popped in here today for a spot of lunch with my fiance, must say exceptional food, excellent service from staff ( libby), and a really friendly warm welcome from management, will definitely return to this little gold mine.

Booked dinner for two and had a great time. Attentive service, lovely food, good wine menu and generally a very nice, cosy pub! Had the seared pigeon breat to start, slow cooked beef rib for the main and white chocolate and raspberry bread and butter pudding to finish. Delicious, and will be back!
I personally wanted to say what a wonderful wedding experience ,yesterday for Mike and penny’s celebration, lucky them to have this venue on their doorstep , very tasty food , great staff , beautiful gardens an absolute gem . Good luck for continued success. Jill and lee
We went for the Beerfest, and what a lot of local beers they had, although busy they still had time to talk to you and advise on the different ales on sale. It also has a nice garden to the rear.
Enjoyed a family and friends celebration (40 guests) this Saturday afternoon in the events room. The 3 course meal with wine was excellent and all served in a timely and professional manner. The waiting staff worked so hard in taking care of us all. Thank you
