I booked a Sunday lunch for two as we were visiting relatives the area. I have never been in this pub before, however we were warmly welcomed and were served with a fresh clean well pulled pint. I had booked our Sunday lunch which was absolutely delicious, a good portion of roast beef with all the t
Such a lovely pub. Went for a family meal with elderly parents and Tracy and Glyn looked after us brilliantly. Food was good and the building is beautiful. Thank you.
Lovely little pub. Fitted us in last minute when we we were let down locally (pingdemic, they did call but we were out if signal, but didn't leave a voicemail?!) Dog friendly. Very friendly staff! Food really tasty. A small menu which is excellent as you know they'd actually have time to cook things
Dog and child friendly front bar with enormous roast lunches. We went for the roast beef and roast pork, hallumi burger and fish & chips. Friendly staff, excellent service, well kept beers, reasonably priced.
I used to drink here when I was 15...so about 40 years ago. Lol. My equally underage friend and I would walk all the way from Haddenham in the dark...down 3 pints outside in the carpark so as not to get the landlord in trouble...then stumble all the way home again. Happy days. ;)
Lovely pub with great food, and very welcoming to both children and dogs too. Staff were fantastic
Great food and a nice pint of cider. Duck was cooked to perfection.
I only popped in for a drink but they serve the best pint of London Pride I've tasted, so I had two.
I took a family group of 12 to the Crown for a celebration lunch on Sunday. We could not have been made more welcome in this friendly and cozy pub. What’s more, it was the best pub Sunday lunch I have had in many a year. Highly recommended!
Great Sunday lunch washed down with some lovely beer.
Great atmosphere, owners are lovely. Very hearty meals at a great price. Highly recommend. They clearly take pride in what they do.
Really lovely pub, cozy, with a nice fire and a good menu. Will be going back regularly for sure!
Fantastic Sunday Roast and very friendly publicans.
If you want a mouth watering meal ,visit this little thatched pub in the quaint village of CUBBINGTON NEAR Aylesbury, on entering you are greeted by Glyn and Tracy Jones the managers from behind the bar. Advisable to book, after booking your meal slake your thirst with a tipple, from your table look
Really good food, The Crown Beef Pie is Delish & such good value, packed with very tender meat it definitely fills a hole. The Barmaid was very good & liked a bit of banter "Get Them Fires Lit" Ha Ha Ha. Good atmosphere in the bar & although The Dining Room lacks a bit of Character it didn't deter f
Nice village pub, sadly could not comment on any food as there was Xmas party booked in for a meal, and no other food was available.
Great, nice lady behind bar and locals where friendly. Can't give 5 stars, didn't have food, but there's always next time
I have lived in the local area for more than 20 years, but this was my first visit to the Crown where I had lunch with a group of fellow cyclists at the end of a morning ride. We were able to place our orders in the early morning before we started our ride and as soon as we returned they started to
We chanced upon the Crown looking for somewhere to eat on a wet bank holiday. The service was fantastic, they were kind, chatty and couldn't do enough for us. The food had everyone at the table very happy, ideal sized portions and great taste. As for price, I've paid double for a lot worse. Will be
