Used this chippy for years and disappointed with food we had last week. We had a king rib and a fish supper and they were really soggy dripping in grease. Managed to eat some of it but most of it went in the bin.
Out on a chippy-ride with a local motorcycle group. Fantastic chips - well worth a stop! Shame the mushy peas weren't gluten free, but appreciated that the lad behind the counter checked properly for me.
Food was hot and fresh. Staff were amazing and the food came out quick. I had the fish supper and the portion size was amazing! Had the curry sauce with it and it was so good! Will come back again for sure!
By far the best fish and chips in Cupar! Need to try the fritters! Staff are fantastic too!
Very good quality and good value. Been there twice during our stay in Fife. Alas, we go home this week and shall miss Libo's.
We tried Libo's for the first time after hearing from friends that their fish n chips were very good. They were spot on. It was delicious. The fish batter was perfect and the chips were excellent. 10/10 all round. We will definitely be back 🙂
Staying at Ballmeadowside and decided on a wee drive to get a fish supper.....boy we were not disappointed hubby got large and i got medium....hate greasy food and this was NOT greasy at all, it was sooooo tasty portion size was unreal both chips and fish were absolutely delicious we both thourghly
I really enjoy the food from here, and the hot 🔥 poppers are lovely. Quick service, although I'd ring ahead if you're getting something around 6pm.

The young lad serving is the best salt & vinegar server ever. He first fills the box with chips then applies S&V. He then puts in the fish and then applies another dose of S-V. Perfectly dressed fish and chips.
Really good food, staff were ok but, a wee bit indifferent in my view.
Front floor could have been swept, lots of paper etc on the floor but, the food area was clean.
Fish was tasty and flavoursome - cooked to perfection. We were big fans of the chips which had good flavour and were not too greasy. Very helpful staff, good portions and good prices. DONT buy rip-off St. Andrews fish and chips - come to CUPAR!!
