Stopped for a quick lunch before a drive back to Cambridgeshire. Good food, fast service and lovely coffee. Has a great atmosphere and kids are well catered for.

What a lovely place to have breakfast, so much thought and love has gone into this wonderful cafe. I don't have kids, but loved the ideas they have, teddy bear meal boxes, teddy colouring and masks. The toilet had nappy changing facilities and a toilet seat for bear cubs to use. The staff are bear-istas, what a fabulous play on words! The cutlery and condiments were in a great place and so organised, plus there was water ready available. My husband and I both had poached egg on doorstep toast and large lattes. When they say large, they mean it too. The food was lovely, service was great. We will be back to try the pancakes and hot chocolate, they looked amazing.

Well worth a try. We dropped in for a cuppa and ended up with poached egg on doorstep toast. It was all so fresh, high quality and tasty. The large latte really is large. Fab atmosphere, spotlessly clean. Deffo one we'll return to. Thank you.

I have been to Brown Bears Cwmbran today and had spoken to two lovely ladies about my gluten intolerance issue and both of them listen me patiencely and helped me. I don't get this very often at other restaurants. Crays, Jane, Ever, Ella and Ievan all were so polite and helpful. Thanks for your kindness. I'll be back for sure

I need to just let you know how marvelous your two young male staff was today. While I was there today having a coffee,Two elderly disabled customers came to the cafe the two young boys was so helpful and patient with them. I just wanted to express my feelings and how proud of them I was and how proud you must be. Thank you xx

Great cafe! I had the vegan pancakes which I need soy free, the staff were great checking to make sure this was the case without a fuss and they were delicious. My husband has a full breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed. We had a highchair for our little girl and it was lovely and clean. Food was served fast and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Stopped here on the off chance as in Cwmbran and so glad that we did! Had a lovely welcome by a member of staff who gave us a choice of sitting in or takeaway and showed us a table as we wanted to sit in.
We had a Caramel Macchiato Latte & White Mocha. OMG fabulous!
Our server at the till was very friendly and pleasant really fast on arrival of our coffee too!
We will definitely be coming back here again if we are in the area and try some of their menu as they have a wide array of choices to choose from.
Also was lovely and clean and presentable which is a huge bonus!
