A decent local Chinese takeaway. Quick service, food was delicious and the portion sizes were good.
I have tried a lot of Chow Mein and Sweet Sour Chicken from a lot of takeaways over the years, and this is old school cooking, the way it should be!

Always order my Chinese from here regularly- all the food is nice (chow mein & fried rice are the proper thing (what East end peeps like Chinese style!.. my opinion!...)... try it prices are reasonable aswell - it's a takeaway thou not an ear in restaurant

This was our first time ordering from New China Gold and will be definitely ordering again. The portions were generous and delicious. The man who answered the phone and the man who delivered the food were also very helpful and friendly. I think we have found our new chinese takeaway!
Best Chinese place in Dagenham area. All the food that we have ordered have been tasty. Seasoning and you can feel Chinese heritage. (Do not mistake me. In China you have completely different experience) we have ordered 10 different dishes all of them tasted very nice. Loved curry and aromatic duck.
Lived in Dagenham for 7 years always had our weekly Chinese, moved to ilford 20 years later and we still go to New China Gold. Great service and food wouldn't think of going to a different Chinese takeaway place anywhere else.
