Very comfortable and extremely well run Wetherspoons pub. The staff work hard at keeping this place clean and presentable. Friendly too! A very enjoyable visit, it is spacious ond comfortable, with good prices on food and drinks. Small outside drinking area in a sunny courtyard at the front. Truly recommend... Best managed Wetherspoons I have been to in years.

It's a spoon's, accept that and you won't be disappointed. It was fairly clean, the coffee was quite good and not a bad place for a quick bite. It's quite sympathetically restored inside and the usual spoon's alcoholics were few in number, but it says more about the town than the pub when I say it's one of the more upmarket places in Dalkeith Town centre.

You understand why other pubs fear Witherspoon opening. The price and format is right. Had an American Breakfast, not had one of those since the pancake place was a thing! Excellent and a decent coffee. Noticed great selection of real ale and gin, safe to say, I will be back 😉

It was busy and pleasant and I enjoyed the sirloin steak at a very reasonable price. A good range of real ales were available. A Stewart's 80 shilling ale from the Loanhead brewery would have topped it off perfectly but the atmosphere was friendly.

Can't go wrong with a Weatherspoons. We arrived during the busy Christmas period. Had the mixed grill which was part of the steak specials which includes a drink for around £6. Food was good and we ordered everything via the weatherspoons app so we didn't have to queue at the bar. Good value overall.

This is my local Weatherspoons in Dalkeith so I know the staff well!! I have found little to complain about (if anything at all). Service can be a bit slow at times as often busy!! Good choice of food on offer and an excellent selection, same as the drink on offer!! My wife and I love coming here so i definitely recommend it.

Had the managers deal, £3.99 for fish and chips. Didn't expect much but the plate was huge, piping hot and delicious, couldn't believe how good it was. Only nasty side was done if the punters who were stealing jam off the bar when the staff weren't looking - nasty Yankee tourists

We eat there at least once a week. The steak night it is unbeatable for value. They are open early for a great breakfast with free refills for your coffee.

One of best places price wise for drinks very busy hence bit of a wait to be served food basic but very good. Could have more staff clearing empty plates glasses from vacated tables.People wanting a clean clear table to sit at.

Nice little place tucked out the way. Smaller than your usual spoons which makes it feel less like a decorated barn. Usual choice and offers. Staff seemed really nice. Only real downside was the walk to the toilets.

Its good food and decent price. It's a nice pub and nice staff. The only bad thing is the toilets are miles away and the disabled toilet always smells and have pee over the floor. It doesn't have good dosabled access also. Other than that I enjoy this wetherspoons.

Good pub with a decent range of beers. Been there for breakfast, fry up with coffee for £5. Only downside is the toilets, up 2 flights of stairs, along a corridor then more stairs then the toilets which smelled pretty bad of wee.
