Great wee spot to fill up and rest when visiting loch doon and galloway forrest park .

Lovely wee breakfast. The man that served us was really nice and attractive. Lovely setting. Next time we are in this area we will definitely go there.
Very friendly and excellent service. We wild camped for a few days on the east side of the loch, and were very pleased that we were allowed to leave our car here for the duration. Fantastic wee place run by locals, tea/coffee, snacks, burgers etc. Also sells some homemade produce. Last but not by any means least is the live webcam off a nearby Osprey nest and viewing area with high powered binoculars.
The owner was fantastic, we asked if we could park here for two nights while a group of us went wild camping, he had no issues at all which was fantastic. We stopped for food and drinks on arrival and before we left which was much needed

Great place. Ayrshire council need to sort out the issue with the live feed osprey cameras...this is a lovely tourist service being badly let down

Staff gave grear recommendation for a nice walking route, really friendly and nice food as well (chips a sausage roll). I would say the drinks are a few percent expensive but that's easily overlooked when they provide such good service and have a really great camera for the ospreys which of course w
Brilliant wee place on Doon Loch to stop an have a coffee an a bite to eat, friendly staff.
Great place and amazing scenery. Good food with a descent choice for such small place. Hot chocolate is most welcome after an early morning walk in winter. Plenty of great walks in the area btw.
It's good to have it in a place like this. And to think (council?) was going to close this place down 😲 T

Lovely wee restaurant set in very rural location at Loch Doon in Ayrshire.
Let me tell you, those cheeseburger sausage rolls are to die for!! Highly recommend ;) that plus the friendly staff and amazing surroundings, must visit!
