Set in a rustic farmhouse with a nice wood fire burning in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside. Homely but basic restaurant interior with lovely friendly and attentive staff. The food was absolutely delicious (vegetarian for me), quality cuisine, perfectly seasoned and just the required portion size.
Lovely food in an intimate and rural location. Nice service, not over the top. Small and relaxed, it's a must visit for those close to Glasgow.
We really enjoyed dining at Braidwoods. It's such an assuming building out in the countryside (cows next door!), you would never think it's a Michelin starred restaurant at first glance. But I think part of the charm is that the food is very down to earth and embodies the spirit of farm to table.

Fabulous food; very reasonable prices - compared to 'down south'. Prime example of how cooking can be better than Masterchef. Lovely homely environment, well polished from many years of perfecting their craft both in the kitchen and front of house. Will definitely visit again. Loved it.
First visit for lunch. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, staff very attentive and helpful. Meal was served efficiently, not rushed and not late . The quality was excellent, local produce including version and fillet steak. Vegetarian menu also available. An excellent overall dining experience
