Grabbed a take out lunch from Tony and the team which was a toasted Reuben sandwich & chips just prior to shutting service for their pop up menu prep.
Looked after me no issue whilst being extremely busy, the service is always spot on and the food is next level and fairly priced.
Highly recommend dropping in and where possible getting on the pop up menu Nights, they sell out fast!

Would highly recommend coming over for breakfast, brunch, or just for a coffee and cake.
Excellent brunch as always and perfect service topped off with some fantastic cakes to go as we were to full to eat them there but they were too good to not get one. Highly recommended
Today was an exceptionally busy day and the staff worked themselves to the bone. Very well done. I would never complain about food or wait time. The food is made to order fresh and is always so beautiful. Well done yet again on excellent quality of service, food and friendliness x

Hired upstairs for a birthday event in the evening. Absolutely incredible food. Has to be up there as one of, if not THE, best places in the area. Huge credit to the chef and staff.
Pop up dinner had amazing flavours, michelin quality and was an all round fabulous experience.
We are very lucky to have this in Dalton!

We had a stunning meal at the pop-up restaurant here. Amazing flavours and combinations. Service was fab, with explanations of what we were being served as it arrived. Nice rest between each course and a lovely warm, chatty atmosphere. It was more than we'd usually spend on a meal out but this is a 'dining experience' not just a pub tea. The meals are crafted, you can tell lots of care goes into every aspect of the delivery of each course. π

We googled eating places near South Lakes Safari and the Chocolate Room was well reviewed so we decided to eat there for lunch. Lovely food and the sweets were amazing π friendly staff too π

Really enjoyed meals here. Lovely pleasant atmosphere and very helpful staff. The only downside was the time it took, but I wouldn't knock it as it was extremely busy. Would recommend and support local.
What a lovely surprise this place is. I thought it was a little average cafe but it's way more than that. Nicely decorated and a homely feel with amazing food. I'd expect this kind of food in a high end restaurant rather than a little cafe in Dalton. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. 10/10 from me....

Absolutely superb flying lunch with great service- we had a train to catch and they made sure we were served quickly. Really great eggs benedict on lovely thick bread. π― recommended.
Nice selection for lunch. I went for the blt which was very good.
