It is a hidden gem;) I found out about this place via Facebook page. We came for a visit during a half term and the place looked busy. The cafe is decorated in Alice of the wonderland theme which we love;) whatever you look there's something to catch your eye. The menu is full of delicious food, lots to choose from, gluten free ,vegan. There is a large selection of freshly baked cakes!! Sooo delicious!The ladies are very welcoming and helpful. We had a tea cake and a scone with clotted cream-yummy! Theres a large outside area where you can sit during a warm weather.
You have to park on the road.
We will definitely come back again.

We finally got to visit The Doormouse tea room!!!! What a lovely surprise!! A warm welcome and delicious food all helped to make our visit special!!! Definitely going again!!!
Really enjoyed it here,, with a very special lady,, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff,, very welcoming quaint little place,, will definitely return. Well worth a visit,, even shared our cake with a little robin. What more could you ask for

Had such a lovely traditional afternoon tea watching the snow from the window. It was so nice sitting by the fire on such a cold day. Selection of Sandwiches was nice and Scones so tasty. Nice to have proper clotted cream. Lovely time.
What a delightful little gem! We had the most beautiful Rustic Afternoon Tea to celebrate my Aunty's 80th birthday. The selection of sandwiches was lovely, with gorgeous fresh bread and fillings. The addition of slices of quiche and cocktail pies with homemade chutney and coleslaw was superb...and ooooooh, the cakes and scones.....! All beautifully presented and served by lovely staff members. Highly recommended .......see you next time around...
Lovely Tearoom...can get busy so I would book a table....Alice in wonderland theme due to its location...Rustic afternoon tea, you will definitely be taking a doggy bag home...Great menu.
Excellent service and food. Nice ambiance. Staff very pleasant and accommodating.
Be aware, parking may be problematic if the car park is full.
Lovely vibe. Really attentive staff. Down to earth, pretty decor. Generally very sweet. Didn’t see many vegan options on the menu, but still had a hot drink with everyone else. Kids loved this little village and enjoyed their cake!
Lovely tearoom with a real fire! Plenty of parking at the rear. Cakes looked amazing. I had tea and crumpets with butter. Staff very pleasant and provided good service. Prices reasonable and specials on offer. Not too twee but some fine looking ornaments.
