Been again tonight cannot fault the service we received. Friendly staff, catering for our Layla allergies no problem, excellent tasty food cooked to perfection will definitely be returning thanks to Caitlin, Charmaine, chef and other manager (sorry forgot name) for accommodating us.
We went for a nice meal to finish the weekend. The Staff helped with food allergens as we entered and gave sheets to look through. After ordering, they further checked allergens and found some trace and double checked before preparing foods.
The atmosphere was good apart from a table next to us changing their order after the fact then not saying about everyone's allergens until they were given food (one person said they had it and no one else, then three had it when served). They were rude to staff and as much as the staff tried to help, they didn't want food taken away and just a discount offered as allergen food is done separately.
Staff were friendly and supportive and tried to help as much as possible but can only work with what they are informed of.
Our food was very tasty, and just really nice time.

We had 7oz gammon steak..cooked to perfection. But l ordered a soda water, no ice. It came with ice, sent back then it came with lime. So it took three goes to get a simple drink. Mind you...there did seem to be a bit of a flap going on. Not sure what. Apart from that it was great.
Excellent service as always. Jack served us tonight and nothing was a bother for him at all. Really polite and respectable towards our party.
Dan (who has also served us in previous visits) also came over to see how we were doing since our last visit and went out of the way to do it.
Cracking evening and the food was delicious, and arrived in good time for a party of 6. 😊
The family stayed at the Premier Inn attached to this Beefeater. Staff are super friendly but one that is outstanding is Leanne. She's an utterly outstanding host the likes of which I haven't seen in silver service restaurants! The kitchen staff should also be praised for the perfect medium sirloin steak. Highly recommended and I hope you have Leanne on shift.
The food is nice and the waiting staff are friendly and chatty but, the service is a little hit or miss. You either get rushed through your meal or you get left 20 minutes waiting for a drink. There doesn't seem to be a happy middleground. Like I say though, food is nice, and they accept blue light which makes it even better.
Dropped in on the Off chance of a decent steak and was not disappointed Ash the chef can really cook a good steak I asked for mine rare and it came absolutely on point beautiful no fat or gristle very tasty. Othere in our party asked for various preferences for there steak all was cooed to perfection will definitely be returning
Friday night family meal out, staff were friendly and service was good. Non drivers had Rubarb Gin, selection of starters - salt and pepper calamari, chicken goujons and Cheesy Wedges. Mains- chicken melt with fries and trio of steaks - unfortunately no room for dessert but they looked nice
Stopped for lunch while car shopping in the area. Food was of a good quality and well priced. Service was a little bit off with some confusion over drinks and issues behind the bar.
I had a couple of issues with my meal, however the way the manager dealt with it was spot on, normally a bad meal is enough to put me off a place but the customer service we received was outstanding and for that alone I'd go back, my husbands meal was perfect he said so I'm confident it was just a "one off"
