Went to wait for a friend and had coffee the atmosphere was warm and friendly, with a family friendly atmosphere. Staff attentive and welcoming. Well worth a visit. As you can see the food is not only delicious but very well presented by a talented kitchen staff. It is worth going to The Bridge Inn just for a meal.

My husband and I received a lovely welcome from a young lady, who explained how we ordered food if sitting outside. The food we ordered was delicious. I spoke to another lady who was working behind the bar and she was equally as friendly. God willing we will definitely be returning.

Absolutely fantastic place! We booked a table for 17:30 and it's a good job we did because they seemed to be fully booked minus 2 or 3 tables. Drinks were brought over very quickly, as was the food. We went for the early bird 3 course menu and the value for money was astonishing. I had the calamari + whitebait to start which was lovely, crispy coatings with lovely soft fish/squid inside plus a tasty little salad on the side. 3 of us had the mixed grill and it was *massive*. Meat was cooked nicely, the mushroom was one of the nicest I've had, the chips were great, and the onion rings were nice, if not a little bit too oily. For dessert I had the blondie which was nice. I would've gone for sticky toffee pudding but it's not often you see somewhere that serves a blondie rather than a brownie. The other meals were fab too. They had the baked black pudding, Peking duck, and salt and pepper chicken to start which were all nice. For mains, there were the other mixed grills, the pulled pork burger, and the pork loin steak. Again, also lovely. Other desserts included the raspberry brulee and baked cookie dough. Service was fantastic as well, checked on regularly and everything brought out very quickly. Even when it got very busy the level of service didn't change.

I have been here multiple times, first time was perfectly fine, lovely food, not that I remember it like. Amazing desserts, especially the skittles sundae and the cookie dough. The second time we went, the starter was sloppy and the wait time was horrendous we waited over 1h for pizza and noodles, we ended up getting so sick of waiting we didn't eat any of it and put it in a takeout box for the next day, it was pretty nice food actually just a bit much for a kids meal. Also, the adult meals were around the same size. But I'm going to to rate it on my first experience, my second was horrible but I hope that was a one of thing and does not happen again. Notes: The below picture is of the dessert I got the first time, I did not get a dessert the second time. Nice play Park for kids outdoors. By 'we' I mean me and my family of three others. ❤️

Went here for a family night get together the night before my dads birthday and I have to say that the food was fantastic and very hot. The staff was really friendly and nice always asking us if everything was alright, I went with the Barney rubble steak which is about 32oz and it was huge and well done and it tasted great, I just managed to shift it with a little to spare. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves their food as they have a great menu too suit every taste. I would definitely go here again. Many thanks to the staff and the chefs who made it a great night to remember 👍.

Meal for 4 here tonight. Our first visit. Nice pub, pleasing and inviting interior. The menu is massive!! Traditional pub grub, Chinese, Italian and more!! 3 out 4 meals all good. I have The Desperate Dan pie which was big enough to feed a family!! Sadly it didn't come with the accompanying fries etc and service was non existent so I couldn't raise the problem. Just as well as I couldn't have eaten it all!! Just felt like I ate PIE and not a complete meal. The pie was tasty but had way too much gravy in. Wife had a Chinese chicken meal which she said was great. I saw a lot of waste food left on plates which is terrible. The portions are way too big. Table service was more or less non existent as it was very busy.

Really good food, we had three Sunday lunches and two desserts, I only gave the service a 3 because it was a little slow/disorganised(or perhaps short on staff?) This said the waitresses were really helpful, friendly and were obviously working hard. We will definitely be back, and it is much better in this format than the old carvery format.

Went in early doors for a works leaving celebration. Second one in a couple of months!. Food superb, the menu choice was good. Early bird menu was two courses for £20 👍portion size not too much, not too little. Service brilliant, staff attentive but not overbearing. Nothing worse than being asked every five minutes "is everything alright" can't fault it. Only downside was the tables were a bit sticky !. Probably the sanitiser spray you have to use now.

Excellent place for a Sunday carvery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon and found the Bridge Inn to a cozy and warm establishment. The food was outstanding with a wide selection of meats and vegetables. There are several different sized plates you can have ranging from small to extras large and all at a very good price. I definitely recommend bringing your family and visiting for yourself.

Excellent food, service ok, atmosphere wasn't great when we visited as quiet and pretty dark in the pub, only certain lights were on for certain sections

Service and staff fantastic. Food was good but wasn't blown away for some reason .. portion size good. Choice was great but I can't put my finger on it why I haven't given 10/10. Still ,I will return again.

The service was lovely and so was the atmosphere. We enjoyed the starters very much unfortunately the lobster was very chewy. We mentioned it to staff and they were fantastic. Offered us complimentary deserts and were very apologetic. We chose coffee instead. It was a lovely evening but let down by the star of the show.

Didn't book as it was our first visit since covid and just walked in, had a drink at the bar while a table was sorted within 10 minutes. Three course Sunday dinner available with plenty of choice on starters/mains/dessert. When the mains came the quantity and quality was amazing choice of three meats, mash, roasties, parsnips, stuffing and Yorkshire puddings followed by a big bowl of fresh steamed vegetables and an extra bowl of gravy all piping hot. Best Sunday lunch ever!
