After a long days travelling I was ready for some good honest grub. I found the place thanks to Google Maps and thought I'd give it a go. I am happy to say that I was not disappointed. Friendly staff and fantastic food and service. They made my visit here worthwhile. No doubt I'll be coming back for another visit before the week is done.
Amazing atmosphere everytime you come in, especially when there’s sports on. Amazing service from everyone, especially Megan, always bubbly and smiling whenever she’s on shift. Food is good price ranged and is always quick to come out.
I've took one star away from the food because of the portion of cheesy chips I got for the price was more than half what I'd get at the chippy for less. As well as pretty pricey pints too, but the service was very catering and the atmosphere is perfect if you wanna have a few chill ones
Quick service and tasty food. A gastro pub serving gastro food. Came out hot and ate it all. Would recommend.
Your typical franchise pub with good seating, helpful staff and banging playlist. Food was as expected, standard quality and all eaten by us. The loss of the star was down to lack of taste in a watery gammon, no onions and peppers for a sizzling steak not on a skillet, and lukewarm apple crumble desert. The latter one caused my reply of okay when asked about it, the plate collector then muttered showing his dissatisfaction to my answer. Overall go if you want a budget lunch out, but not too budget
Food was great. Came in with my toddler for a quick lunch and my son loved his. Kids meals are cheap and you get a decent sized portion- definitely enough to full up the kids. Service was good. Was served by James at the bar and Rachel (I believe her name was) brought our food. Both so polite & informative.
Had a fantastic meal. First time eating here and I was greeted on arrival and shown to my table. Friend bar staff and management. Couldn’t have asked for a better service. Shout out to the manager, she helped with our dietary requirements and was brilliant. 10/10 will be definitely coming back to eat again.
Had my sons birthday there and couldn't ask for more.
Staff were so friendly helpful and couldn't do enough to make his birthday special.

One of the best mixed grills I've had for a while, the steak was cooked to perfection the chicken was so tender and the gammon was perfect

Food is similar to other Restaurants which is delicious.
They have good variety of different food so everyone will find perfect food for them.
My Friend and I decided to go for Sharer as starter and then we went for mains.
Food was freshly prepared and pretty hot.
Only odd thing was when we were in the middle of the starter and waitress already came asked us of we were ready for mains. (We said no politely), but despite that even mains arrived later hot and fresh.
Price wise is good as well. If you come in certain day you can get some good deals.
Pretty much each day has a deal wether for burgers or steaks.
If you in Darlington and looking for a good food in good price then Hungry Horse is the place to go. You won't be disappointed.
Even staff were friendly and polite.
