We have had a great evening at the white heifer. We were a large group and we turned up without a booking, however we were greeted as soon as we walked in by a guy called Chris and he served us all night. He was really friendly, and welcoming and nothing was too much! Lovely food and good drinks, overall a great night!

Would be better if they would allow well behaved dogs in. I think they are missing out on a growing population of dog owners who love going to the pub with their best friends. Something to consider. đ€·đ»ââïž

Popped in for tea, we ordered a nacho sharer and the southern fried burger, both starter and main meal came quickly and tasted delicious. The staff were very accommodating getting water for our dog, we were sat out in the beer garden and they came out to check on us through out meal, highly reccomend this lovely pub

Stopped for lunch with daughter, 1 year old, 6 year old and 8 year old. Servie was good, very helpful getting high chair and finding a table a little out of the way. Menu was usual pub grub but really liked the build your own options for the kids menu and bigger kids options. Food was hot and tasty and reasonably priced.

I had a good experience at the White Heifer Pub! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. While the food was okay, pretty much standard for the brewery chain.
The variety of dishes offered was decent, i would visit again to explore more of their menu.
A nice pub and location for anyone craving a delightful pub experience!

Visit the white heifer on Friday and the food was to a really good standard we have pizza and a burger definitely recommend. Service was great staff were very polite and friendly. We were unsure on which desert to have therefore the waitress recommended to us which I thought was really helpful! Definitely a good recommendation too đ. Over all brill experience will definitely be returning.

It's a great option for a family meal. There's loads on the menu that fussy kids like, a really open and clean restaurant area with friendly staff. They made a huge effort to ensure my brother-in-law with a peanut allergy felt safe too (and he can be really anxious about his allergy).

Staff were wonderful. Food was very good, sauces for steak tasted very synthetic though. Very pleased that they brought my little boy's pizza out quickly even though they were so busy.

If you like poorly cooked microwave food, bad steaks and getting spoken too like crap by management then this is right up your street. After a, mildly, pleasant Boxing Day we decided to give it one more chance, so we took my 66 year old father-in-law for his birthday. After decent starters the meals came and so did the problems. My father-in-law was not happy with his roast. Not wanting to ruin the day he persevered but when he was asked the standard "is everything ok" by the waiting staff he decided to answer honestly. He told them his beef was dry, his gravy tasted burnt and the, so called, roast potatoes where in fact deep fried mash (this was the case with the other roasts at the table but after what came next no one else dared comment). He was asked if he wanted a replacement but as we were half way through our meals he said no and tried to carry on. The complaint was obviously passed on to management so she decided to get her 2pence worth in. Instead of coming to the table and discretely discussing the matter the, apparent, manager proceeded to stand about three foot away from our table and abruptly demand to know what was wrong. After my father-in-law explained his complaint she then decided, loud enough for the other 3 tables around to hear, "all you lot do is complain, I don't know why you bother, if you don't like it don't bother coming." Granted this is not the first time we have had a complaint about the food in there but when you go to a place almost every week with a party of at least 6 putting an average of ÂŁ100 behind the bar sometimes someone in the party won't be happy but who would with hair found on plates or rubber steaks. Needless to say this made all 10 of us feel very awkward so we are taking her advice and not setting foot in there again. If you want fresh cooked reasonably priced food in Darlington go to the copper beech on neasham road or the hole in the wall in town. Christ even KFC tops this place. When you ask the bar staff for head office number and are told that they don't have it and a few people have asked for it you know something's wrong.

Fantastic service, friendly staff, good food, and fantastic prices. What else do you need to know. The place is fantastic.

Could have been better. Slow service and tough beef. Small portions. Waited ages for pudding which has finally arrived! The vegetarian dish came with a peice of roast beef inside also.... 1 pudding been forgotten!
