The Flying Boat - J D Wetherspoon

This is a spacious Weatherspoons...a lot bigger inside that it looks.Decor is a bit old fashioned to my taste.However I guess it's in line with other Weatherspoons.There's a marvelous big garden with loads of chairs & tables.Customer services was good,the food was as expected...more filling than it looked.Atmosphere not too noisy.Overall a good lovely experience😃👍

Usual Wetherspoons menu. Great service from pleasant, friendly staff. It's a big place and like some other large Wetherspoons, it's a bit like a big school cafeteria. That's my only reservation about it - I just prefer a few more booths and smaller seating areas. Otherwise - good, reasonably priced food and great service.

This is a great place for a pub meal and to relax over conversation. Lots of space, friendly staff, and clean facilities. It had been a few years since I had a proper fish and chips, so I am likely biased. But after the last few years in the Mediterranean and Black Sea, that North Atlantic cod was like manna from heaven. Was it a little oily? Yes! The chips overly large? Yes! The peas mushy? Yes! In all ways, this experience was exactly what you would expect. This is why I looked forward to it from my arrival in Dartford. It was, for me, a memory manifested with friends. One sharp eared staff also recognized my Canadian accent, which honestly confused me. We never think we have one! Good job, I recommend this place if you're ever passing by.

I went in on Saturday night as a complete stranger and i got served immediately. Sat down drank me beer and felt very comfortable. Decide to have another one and the barmaid acknowledged me and asked what i wanted. She served me while serving someone else which i thought showed proper bar skills and experience. Nice beer,bud,nice glasses and very clean. Nice atmosphere of people talking to eachother and having a nice evening out. Highly recommend and i would definitely go back. First time in a pub for over 2 years for me too.
