Perfect little pub for a cosy drink and one of the most enjoyable roast dinners I’ve had. Plenty of meat, plenty of freshly cooked veg inc cauliflower cheese (yum) and fantastic roast potatoes. Oh and the Yorkshires…. HUGE!

We stopped here as an alternative to a motorway services - and we are sure glad we did!
The food was great (scampi, chips and mushy peas) with a special shout out to the chips which were brilliant! The drinks were good and the staff were lovely - definitely would recommend and will stop here if passing on the M25 in the future. Thank you!

We were told about this pub by friends, we didn't know it even existed. We visited on a sunny midweek lunchtime when it was not too busy but we were still able to get a good feel for the place. It is in truth a nice friendly village pub with a good selection of draught beers and delicious pub food on offer. The food is freshly cooked and served with a smile. An added bonus is the large beer garden with beautiful views across the valley. Definitely a place to visit.
