Finbar's Portland Hills

Great service. I had the buffalo cauliflower bites: a great portion, great flavour, but I had to keep checking that I wasn't eating raw chicken because the texture of the cauliflower was similar to raw chicken which was odd. The cauliflower wasn't "cooked" or crunchy, which wasn't like most cauliflower bites I have had elsewhere. I didn't mind it overall, it was tasty for sure, but once I realized it felt like raw chicken in my mouth it wasn't quite the same! See pic. Chef: maybe think about how to make a crunchy buffalo cauliflower dish!

Was here a few weeks back and Finbars always has great service. I was there for my mother's birthday. We had 7 people so we used the private room. It was a great space but we heard continuous banging, I don't know if renovations were happening, but it sounded like it was from the kitchen. Besides the noise the food was great! I tried the veggie tacos!
