Genji Sushi

I had an incredible dining experience in this restaurant during my birthday night. You can easily and quickly get your food after ordering. Food is really tasted. The best all-u-can-eat Japanese restaurant in halifax. Staff here is really nice and friendly. They response rapidly to your requests everytime. Highly recommended and will come again.

Much better than the other all you can eat Japanese/Asian style places in the area. My only suggestions for improvement is to expand on the Dim Sum selection (I don’t like sushi but am happy to go with my husband if there are other things to order) and to invest in the tablet system, as other all you can eat restaurants do these days. I really enjoyed their dumplings and steamed buns. I really hope they get soup dumplings because those are amazing and I haven’t found them yet in Halifax

We go monthly with our three kids! Lots of variety, large item menu, great staff! Fresh sashimi Large tempura menu Korean-Japanese mixes Fresh, flavourful Gyoza. Great spot for newbies and lovers of sushi. Huge parking lot, AYCE (with military discount), large sushi bar and kitchen staff, clean facility and rooms for a date night or a large gathering. It's so bad now that the staff knows us! A must try.

This is my first lunch at Halifax. I did a lot of homework before I came, I thought this restaurant had a good reputation, but I met something crazy. It is my first time using Google view as well. I have two small pieces of advice for the waitress. Firstly, if someone is talking with you in English, please do not speak Mandarin, please. I'm proud of my Asian background. I’ve learned a little bit of Chinese at school as well. But I am not that glad to be treated as a Chinese. Moreover, if you speak English with the Caucasians, pls do not speak Mandarin to Asian faces. Not every Asian is Chinese. Secondly, I ordered a grilled eggplant; when I realized it was rotten, I talked to the waitress, she replied that if you feel the food has any problems, you can talk to anyone you want. That's crazy. This is the first time I've been treated so rudely like this. You can find 100 ways to solve the problem. You could choose to help me get another one, and I'm ok with it. It is all you can eat. If you do like that, you don't have any extra cost. I never thought this kind of discrimination would happen in Canada, especially in a Japanese restaurant.
