We went to Bushell’s on the last evening of our holiday, it was the perfect way to end a fantastic week in Dartmouth. As the weather was beautiful we sat in their outdoor area with views across the estuary. My wife had king prawns and I had a pizza, both were cooked to perfection and delicious. Friendly and attentive service, we will definitely go again on our next visit to Dartmouth.

We are here to celebrate our engagement. Turned up on a very busy Thursday evening after our original booking elsewhere had fallen through with no where to celebrate. The lovely lady (who I’m assuming is the owner ) was very accommodating and re opened the out door eating area for us. We were then waited on by Miles who was very attentive and helpful. The food was absolutely amazingly cooked and the service was excellent. They very kindly gave us some Prosecco on the house after our meal which topped it off. We were very lucky to eat here and if you’re in the local are you absolutely should stop by!!

We enjoyed a great meal at Bushell’s this evening, the food was excellent, fresh tasting with a good selection. The service was warm & welcoming & the view was beautiful. We would highly recommend & look forward to returning.

Great and fresh food. We had deep-fryer squid, mussels and fish and chips, everything was delicious. Good kids menu too. The local lager in a can was very good too. The restaurant is cozy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We totally recommend it.

A lovely outdoor seating area with magnificent views across the harbour out to sea. No need to have booked, just turned up and got seated.
A very nice parma ham pizza - I recommend the coleslaw to go with it. Chicken salad lovely too. Mind your head in the toilet!

Thank you to Jamie and Sarah for making my Dad’s 60th birthday party so special! Couldn’t do enough for us and were amazingly attentive. Food was stunning; fresh seafood and steaks! Highly recommend

Came here for lunch. Ordered the “grilled in the shell scallops” and “garlic buttered crevettes”. Both tasted amazing, really flavoursome and fresh. Service staff were attentive and helpful too.

I visited on Friday 11th March 2022 for dinner and it was lovely. Although the menu may look small, there's a good level of variety and also daily specials. We had the scallops and "specials board" hake and both were delicious. I visited again on Sunday 13th, for lunch this time, to try the pizza. The base was covered in a layer of flour which dried it out a little but it was still a nice meal and I would have it again. We were able to walk in both times with it being out of season but was advised by the lovely owner that they book up fast for summer so you're better booking in advance. Also they have outdoor seating by the river in summer which I look forward to trying out. Overall a lovely experience and I will definitely visit again.

Sharing platter was delicious and a nice amount for two people. The calamari small plate was also very good. Would highly recommend both.
Great location, with the outdoor seating on the sea front. First come first served for the outdoor seating so it's worth getting there a bit before opening lunch time on a sunny day.
