Returned after visiting 7 years ago and definitely not disappointed. Had a super meal here on Wednesday. Had the special "lobster, scallops, king prawns, caviar and samphire with a sumptuous buttered shrimp reduction... Stunning and melt in the mouth. Followed by the best cheeseboard I've had in a restaurant for ages. Go! Wonderful service, food and ambience 😊
The staff are very friendly and attentive, first class service and food to die for, full of lovely flavours, a great little restaurant in a fabulous setting over looking the river dart. A must visit venue.
I can't believe I've lived in Dartmouth almost ten years and hadn't eaten in this superb restaurant until the other week ... best meal I've ever had in the town - or at least it was until I returned last week and ate there again. I can't recommend it enough - the chef/owner clearly 'knows his stuff' and I've honestly never tasted food this good - the 'front of house' (Canadian guy) is so friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble - absolutely perfectly suited for the role - the ambience, views, incredible food and service, atmosphere - what's not to like? I always believed this restaurant to be 'expensive' but it has to be said, it isn't - you just pay for what you get in life and you will certainly get more than your money's worth in this restaurant! Thanks guys - definitely returning soon! :)
We went to Taylor's a year ago for our wedding meal. And we loved it so much we decided to have our first wedding anniversary meal there too. Fantastic food, fantastic wine, fantastic service. Couldn't of asked for more.
Had a beautiful meal such a lovely place very friendly and fantastic views would highley recomend. The decir is beautiful.

My husband and I absolutely love Taylor's- we treat ourselves whenever we are in Dartmouth and have been able to take my parents and our children too. Everyone agrees, the food is superb, wonderful service and such a pretty view! Wish we were closer to go more often!
Lovely meal last Saturday for a pre Christmas family lunch. This was a recomendation and we are so glad we went. The food was AMAZING and the Service wonderful! Plus the view to the harbour was an added bonus. We will return and SO worth the drive down from Axminster.
Double birthday celebration and a golden wedding anniversary so chose Taylors for a special dinner. Food was excellent, choice and quality. Wine was highly priced. Staff were pleasant but not terribly effusive or informative in terms of talking through the menu or topping up our wine glasses.
Lovely location upstairs with a view overlooking the harbour. Not a huge restaurant so staff were very attentive. Our food was perfect. Good mix of choices on the menu. A very enjoyable evening.
A really special place with excellent food, particularly fish, and great service. Amazing view out over the boat float and river. We were given the table in the large bay window which made our visit extra special. I'd recommend this place for any special occasion. If you're lucky you might even spot a local celeb dining there.

Lovely restaurant with very attentive service. Their special dish was amazing - lobster, prawns and scallops served in a lobster shell. Beautifully presented and great tasting. Perhaps my favourite place in Dartmouth so far.

We were impressed by the prompt friendly service. The food was exquisite and beautifully presented. It’s a small and expensive restaurant so for special occasions (most of the tables were there for a birthday). Also well situated with an impressive view of the river Dart. 10% recommended!
Great service, delicious food and smashing view . We came here last year with friends and really enjoyed it and second time around we were not disappointed. Absolutely lovely.
Very lovely dining area, staff were very helpful and friendly. The waiting time was very short and fast service. Standard of food was also really great, all around really lovely place.
Delicious and well executed dishes. Would have given a Five Star review but was unrelaxed and constantly interrupted by service over my head and shoulder.
Would return but definitely ask for a table not six inches away from other dining couple!

Dined on Saturday evening after not having eaten her for years and we were not disappointed.
The Scallops were excellent and the Red Thai Monkfish Curry was one of the best I have probably had and the service superb, I would highly recommend.
We were visiting the area and booked before attending.What a great place to eat.We were met by staff and couple of covid checks and then taken upstairs the decor was very grown up.Staff were friendly,professional and social distancing was used were possible.
The food was great but possibly a little expensive but the experience was great.
We both had the crab which was great and piping hot though the portion was quite big we both had difficulty finishing it.My partner had fillet mignon and he said it was beautiful and I had the lobster again was beautiful. Sadly we didn't have room for dessert. Would go again if in area.
I took my wife here for lunch on her birthday and we were very impressed. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the views from the window of Dartmouth harbour are lovely and the food was exceptional. We ate from the lunchtime set menu which was great value. Will definitely go back!
