We have just stayed for a long weekend at The Seale Arms and would highly recommend. Upon arrival, we were politely greeted by the bar person Charlotte, whom checked us into our room. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the bed was of a superior quality with a really good mattress topped with luxurious bedding and pillows. When in the bar area, the bar Managers Craig and David were extremely friendly, Craig was able to talk about the town and gave us great tips on where to go and information about the boat trips and places to eat. David discussed the ales available and their very own Seale Arms Ale was delightful. The staff here made our stay, it has a great atmosphere and we had a right laugh. The location was just perfect for getting around. We will definitely return.

Large spotless rooms (we booked two) in a traditional pub. Excellent, comfortable bed. Friendly staff and easy walking access to the town. Great value based on some of the other rooms in the town. Get a room at the back if you can (they have a band that plays until 11pm at the weekend) and use the park and ride (drop off point is a couple of minutes away) as all parking in town is tricky. Happy to give it 5stars

Ideal location .We had 3 rooms for 2 nights for a family get together. The well decorated rooms were all large and mine had an enormous bathroom .Large comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Only drawback was the music on the Saturday night, but we had advanced warning and finished by 11.30.

Just got back from a 5 night stay at The Seale. I'm so happy we found this little gem. Such a lovely place to stay, the rooms were immaculate, very comfy beds, Netflix in the room, really nicely decorated, pub owners and staff were lovely and very friendly. Location is great. Can't fault the accommodation or hospitality in any way. Would definitely stay here again, in fact wouldn't want to stay anywhere else

We found this place on accident and what a happy accident it was! Testament to the fact that some of the best places aren’t on booking.com and you have to keep a lookout for hidden gems 😊 Owners are absolutely lovely, the room was spacious, well decorated comfy and clean (also nice touch on amenities). Felt so comfortable and cozy the whole time. Also great location - you’re at the marina in less than 5 minutes. We will definitely be coming back and thank you guys for a great stay!

We have just returned from a three night stay at this great little pub and guest house. The Landlord and Landlady are a lovely couple who took over as Managers in May, overseeing a complete refurbishment of the property. It is easy to see how all their hard work over the recent months has come to fruition. The minute you step into the pub you feel at home, everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcome, and the entertainment was a bonus. The room we stayed in was large, clean, with a very, very comfortable bed. The full English breakfast was definitely a 'full' one, well cooked with good quality ingredients. The cost of the stay was very reasonable for accommodation within the town centre. We would have no hesitation in booking this great pub and guest house again if we visit Dartmouth in the future.

Stayed the night in one of the newly refurbished rooms. And it was wonderful, beautifully decorated room, well catered for. The pub has had a fantastic new refit and is a real improvement on how the establishment used to be. But all in all the most important thing that made my stay so lovely were the hosts. Wonderful people, friendly, helpful, caring and delightful. Will definately be staying again in near future.
