Great wee hidden gem serving delicious wood-fired pizza as well as authentic pasta dishes and Scottish fayre. The decor could be better but the staff are lovely and it's good value for money. Will definitely be back!

Excellent food and reasonably priced, good variety on the menu and the pizza was especially good. Friendly staff and fast service. Pizza oven is cool. Definitely worth the drive out here to stop off for lunch or dinner.

Lovely location and very well presented casual dining restaurant. Staff friendly and welcoming. Service good and prompt. Pizzas cooked in large wood fired pizza oven in full view adds to atmosphere. Food very good, new menu now in August.

Very quiet and serene countryside restaurant. I had a sea food pasta and guess what? It was absolutely delicious! I tried their oven baked chicken pizza with sweet corn...also very good. This is a great place to have lunch or dinner alone, with friends or family. The staff are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place.

Very fresh and very friendly. Wouldnt fault the staff or the establishment. Please get rid of plastic plants on tables. And more whisky in the whisky sauce. (A little bland) but tasty and WILL BE BACK!!!πŸ‘πŸ₯°

Absolute Heaven We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day for the lovely scenic drive to the Louden Hill Restaurant. Steeped in the finest Scottish history and surrounded by sheer natural beauty, every seat in the house offers picturesque views to enjoy while dining. We opted for a table outside to take full advantage of the nice weather. The staff are absolutely fantastic and work as a well oiled machine and the high calibre of training and knowledge of the menu and options makes for a simple, pleasurable experience when ordering. The menu literally caters for everyone and the staff will let you know what specials are available. I had trouble choosing between dishes but finally opted for the Haggis Bon Bons for my starter, the amazingly low priced sirloin steak with a Diane sauce and for pudding the piece de resistance that is the Sticky Toffee Pudding. You simply MUST try it. The dishes were served quickly despite everything being cooked fresh. The Haggis was amazing. The sauce, tatties and haggis blended perfectly. I could have happily ate a larger portion of these for a main course. The main course was brought out in perfect time showing how well the kitchen works. The timing was just perfect despite the restaurant being busy. I admit, I was tempted by the Carbonara that my daughter ordered and the steak pie that my wife ordered but, the sirloin steak was too hard to resist at such a low price. Cooked to absolute perfection with a fine Diane sauce. Just simply perfect! My daughter said her carbonara was excellent and my wife's steak pie was reportedly fantastic. The puddings... oh I don't have the vocabulary to do the Sticky Toffee Pudding justice. I honestly can't remember ever having anything so good. The sponge was perfect, the sauce perfect and it was lovely and warm and lush. My wife opted for the strawberry and lime cheesecake and she was very impressed with the thick base. My daughter ordered the Dough Sticks and I managed to pinch one. These too were fantastic! After we finished our meal, we were asked if we would like to move indoors as the sun had faded and it was getting chilly. We'd never even thought about asking and we were very grateful the staff thought to ask us. Everything was perfectly timed, well presented and looked just as good as it tasted. The service was excellent. Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. Prices were amazing and the dining experience enhanced by the beautiful surroundings. A dog friendly, child friendly restaurant that is just outstanding. Watch the movie 'Outlaw King' before you visit and ask to Speak to Chef Sam who is so friendly and welcoming.
