This is one of my favourite pub restaurants to go to. I consider myself lucky to live within a walking distance of it. As someone who is fussy about melted cheese this is the only restaurant besides domino’s and Pizza Hut that I’ll order pizza from, it’s always great. The burgers are wonderful, fantastic chicken curries and a good selection of drinks to top it off. Favourite. Restaurant. Ever.

This is continuing to be a great family pub, with a fantastic atmosphere. The now not so new manager is welcoming and really doing well with this place. The staff are also quick and efficient at their job and the days of waiting ages to get served are long gone!! A nice local pub once more

I recently visited the Queen of Hearts pub in Daventry. This is probably my 5th visit. It's a decent pub with interesting interior decor. They have outdoor tables and a playground for kids, and the place is pet-friendly. The drinks and food were good, our table was a bit sticky... Don’t want to be mean but the staff seemed a bit tired and not very friendly, but overall, it's a good pub in Daventry that I would recommend checking out.

I remember going to this pub back in the early 2000s and as a kid loved it, in the back there used to be a massive kids play area which has now turned into a extended dining area, now that I have kids I do miss the play area as I would have loved my son to have the good memories I had. Back when the place first opened I have memories of there being an outrun arcade machine something else that has now gone.
As for the food, it's average pub grub, nothing to complain about there.

There was a lot of us so you expect a few mistakes but I can honestly say it all went so well everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff were very helpful and happy which makes the whole experience better. Thank you for a great birthday meal for my daughter 5*

I had not had a proper pub dinner in twelve years but Queen of Hearts was a good re-introduction.
A starter, main course and drink came to a little under £20, which I found very reasonable and the quality of the food was good.
I thought the wait for the food was a little long given that it was not very busy and a sauce for which I had paid was missed (I admit I also forgot this…) but the staff were nice and I do not want to be too harsh.
The interior decor is homely and there is also a pool table for those so inclined, so a little something for everyone.

It used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Good food, great atmosphere and a play area for the kids!
However, the last few times we have been in the service and quality have been far below standard.
We came in for a birthday meal on Sunday 26th Feb 2017 and I was appalled! We placed our food order - after waiting 30 minutes the gentleman from the bar came over and apologized for not informing us that there would be a long wait. It wasn't even busy! He then comes back out 20 minutes later to inform us that they do not have any turkey left would we mind having chicken instead? Not a big problem - apart from it was the tiniest piece of chicken I had seen served in a restaurant as a main adult meal! They offered as compensation to refund the two meals and free puddings for the whole table. We waited for over an hour to get our food and when it finally came out the gammon steak that my daughter and I ordered was over cooked. To the point that even using a steak knife we couldn't cut it. The manager came over in her slippers to discuss the problems we had had and offered a partial refund for the two meals as we had eaten the stone cold chips and peas! I would like to say that it was a one off experience but myself and others have had repeated experiences like this one and will not be returning. The `NEW` menu is also very limited in choice and that includes the puddings! Such a shame - but the attitude the manager had was awful and to greet customers in your slippers and looking like you just crawled out of bed not very professional at all! The bar staff tried their best to rectify the issues, however, I found out that the manager had blamed them for the experience which I feel was wrong - they are front of house - they didn't cook the food!

Pre ordered our meal, had to wait an hour and a half before it arrived, waited another hour for our desert after asking several times if we could have it, meal was very average, we felt like we were hindrance, would never advise anyone to there

Avoid this pub like the plague!! Crap food.. Waited an hour for it.. And the mixed grill was the worst I've ever seen!!.. Roast beef dinner looked like a child's meal-1 boiled potato,1roast potatoe.. Poor poor poor!!!

The service was slow and the steak and ale pie should be changed to gristle and ale! Our kids didn't eat their food, their food didn't taste right. Think I'll stick to middlemore farm

Me and my partner went with friends 6 of us altogether it wasn't a busy night we ordered our meals and drinks was going well untill it took an hour and a half for food to come out and then it wasn't nice! 2 of my friends got a refund and 4 of us didn't witch was very upsetting so we won't be going here anymore!!

Not a place to visit if you drink beer. They have removed the sparklers from the pumps and the beer is flat and lifeless. If someone manages to get a head on the beer, it goes after the first couple of sips.
