Best battered fish ever! I'm not keen on the chips (I like soggy chips I'm weird) but my husband and family love how crispy they are and go mad for them. Staff are really nice and the fish is cooked fresh, the curry sauce is gorgeous too. Just remember to take cash as he doesn't have a card machine but there is a cash machine close by if you forget. Definitely go here!

Fantastic fish and chips. Good menu, with explanation of what to expect from different fish on the menu. Two of us had Cod, I went with Scampi and all portions were very generous.

I have always used this chippy its local to us and we are never disappointed with the quality of food. Its value for money and the staff are always friendly. I went to warren chippy to try something different, and I must say that I am deeply deeply disappointed with the quality of food we received. I binned the chips and headed back to ROCK AND SOLE!! ❤️

Thoroughly enjoyable! We've ordered here a few times after having been disappointed by a few local fish bars and Rock 'n' Sole have been wonderful everytime, with generous portions of real chips, hot battered fish and a lovely cut of lemon to drizzle without being stodgy or overly greasy. Reasonable prices, generous portions if perhaps a little too generous at times, we cut back on chips tonight since our appetite isn't what it used to be but I could have eaten everything all over again, it was that nice!

Hands down the best chips I've ever had! The fish, likewise, is absolutely delicious. Made fresh to order. Very reasonable prices.

My first piece of fish was clearly 'off' and it was a shame the personnel couldn't tell before serving it to us. However, when we did return the meal, a new one was prepared without any hassle. Great portion sizes.

Excellent food Best we have ever tasted. Don't get ripped off by going to one of the chippys on the front walk back in the town well worth the walk. Lovely owner and staff

By far the best chippy in Dawlish. Freshly cooked food as you wait. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic service and value for money. Well done for staying open and feeding Dawlish throughout the lockdowns.
