Review Palm Bay Caribbean - Debden

Amazing tasting food, I was really impressed with how good the food tasted. I went with 2 of my friends and one of them is incredibly picky when it comes to Caribbean food and even he enjoyed the food and said he'll definitely be going back. I ordered the combo platter for 1 which had such good value and choice. Service was great, food came quickly and piping hot too.

Everything @palmbaycaribbean in #debden had us licking our lips and our fingers! The jerk chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly and those jerk lamb chops blew me away 🤯 The fried dumplings were crispy on the outside and managed to be dense but fluffy in the middle and were the perfect way to mop up the sauces in the oxtail stew and curry goat. The prawns were huge and cooked perfectly for that bouncy texture. Friendly service and food arrived in a decent time. Can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!

We visited palm bay for a family lunch, service was great, polite and friendly. We did wait quite along time for our food, food was nice so was the strawberry daiquiris. We all agreed that we would visit again

Food serving is generous. Especially the platter. We enjoyed so much. We wait only for 15 minutes to be sitted as its full house - Friday. Parking is not a problem at all.

Thanks to the staff especially Matthew. Food was very tasty and was on time. Staff were very very nice. The best cocktails ever. This is my second trip and I will be back.

This restaurant is one to visit, whether you're well versed in the depth of Carribean cuisine or would like an excellent first introduction into the world of authentic flavours of the West Indies. I found the staff to be welcoming, polite, helpful, and patient. They showed a great level of customer care during my experience. The Food - absolutely bursting with flavour and life, accompanied by an offering of generous portions. We ordered the jerk mix special, large rice & peas, sides, and a portion of mac & cheese. Everything arrived in good time and well presented. I'm happy to tell you, when food is good it doesn't last long on the table. But you already know that! A pineapple punch was in full support of the proceedings and was a welcome friend. Keep up the good work guys!!!

I'm not great fan of jerk food but the food was lovely. The flavor and the heat of the jerk was just right. Not overpowering. Such a comfortable atmosphere. Would come again.

We came here and was greeted by lovely service. The food was DEVINE I'm talking 10/10 easily. I got the honey jerk salmon salad and it was the perfect balance of flavour and freshness and a decent portion. We also got the plantain which was cooked to perfection and the curried chicken was also cooked amazingly. Everything was prompt and it wasn't too busy so we didn't wait long. Overall excellent food, service and good atmosphere. We will be back again!

Regardless of the time waiting for our food. Patience is key cause without a doubt the food is amazing. Jerk chicken and Curry goat was on point. I presume the manager realised that we were waiting for some time and had drinks on the house which for me made up for the time we had to wait.

Had a lovely meal here with family. Food was delicious and great value for money. Our server martina was amazing. The food came and she wasn’t happy with the portion size so sent it back to the kitchen for a top up which was more than enough. Will definitely be back again!! Big shout out the the staff especially Martina she was lovely!!!

Wow, what amazing flavours! I have been here a few times now, and I have never been disappointed. The food is an explosion of the most amazing flavours, and the rice and peas is perfect! The staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is great! I highly recommend a visit.

Had our sons 40th Birthday 🎂 they sorted out his cake for me and lit the candles. I recommend this place plus its very reasonable priced. And will be going back soon

New favourite place, 3 meals in 2 days!! Freshly made with not a microwave in sight. Good portion size, food is unreal and staff are extremely friendly as well as the restaurant being tastefully decorated. I highly recommend Palm Bay!

I can’t recommend this place enough! This restaurant is run by team of young people! I loved the atmosphere and the way everyone was so happy around. Make sure you book a table before you go as they are always packed and you don’t want to miss out! Make sure you have plenty of time as they also do a lot of take aways and I can confirm! They are popular lol! Service is a little slow but we had drinks and we enjoyed the atmosphere! Food was so tasty! Dumplings were to die for, Mac and cheese has a twist of spice in it ( pretty sure it’s scotch bonnet). Cocktails are soooooo nice and not watered down with ice like in other places!

Had the combo for two people it was delicious, great food and great service from Jasmine. I will be coming back. The mac and cheese was amazing 👍🏼

Great food - Curry goat was so tender. Service a little slow but the staff were friendly and engaging. The Rum punch was out of this world. Will be my No 1 place for a sit down Jamaican meal from now on. I would suggest that you book a table as it can get busy.

Needed a taste reminiscent of my youth, Palm Bay 💯 did that. Lively staff, freshly cooked food, 2pm and super chilled. Ackee, saltfish, plantain, rice & peas

Delicious food. Music way too loud. I couldn't hear my partner so many times as the music was just too loud. It's a restaurant, not a rave. Only thing that ruins it.
