Cracking good bit of fish (big too!) and chips that tasted of potato and not oil, the (not that new now) owners have done a grand job of re invigorating a popular chippy and are true grafters, good effort guys.

A great place to go for some very nice fish and chips made to order. Has a large menu with lots on offer. The only gripe is that like all other fish and chip shops, it's not a comfortable place to wait in while your food is prepared.
Enormous portion of cod, small(?!) portion of chips, more than enough for 2 of us on the hottest day of the year!
Delicious food, made even better by sitting outside the little church cafe opposite
Huge portions of chips. Unfortunately there was haddock available when we visited but the cod was good.
Super fish and chips, good portion sizes, very tasty fish. Not been here for a while, was as good as we remembered.
First time I’ve visited. Very impressed. Excellent fish and chips. The fish was delicious and beautifully cooked as were the chips. Proper chip shop chips and excellent curry sauce. Charming, friendly service. Highly recommended.

Since my last visit to a fish & chip shop in Lowestoft in the 1960's, I have been trying to find somewhere in Suffolk that recreates that long-held memory of freshly landed fish from the North sea that I remember from my youth. I found it in Debenham! - Go there and savour the flavour!
My brother Mark worked there in 78-79.
It was his part-time job while we were stationed there.
He always says that it was a great job.
Brilliant selection of fresh fish, pies, sausages and nuggets and of course chips, super service and all covid restrictions in place , they take phone orders too.

One of the better chippies around, at least that's what my old man says and he should know, he grew up in one. Certainly the best chip shop in Debenham, if not the surrounding areas. Fish good, chips good, service good.
Always fair sized portions and cooked well. Been a pillar of the community during COVID and ensured they've been able to offer a service to so many.
Great village chippy serving all the usual fare, with good service. Can phone ahead and order and all ready for collection.
