Lovely traditional tea room serving good food whether main meals or cakes etc. Situated in the heart of the village and ideal for either beginning or end of a walk around the village and countryside with some refreshments.
Very friendly and polite service at this classic English Tea Room in Constable Country. Late on Saturday afternoon (arrived 4.15pm) they still served some of the best (fresh baked same day) scones we’ve tasted for afternoon tea with clotted cream and Tiptrees preserves. Lovely quaint and historical cafe in the heart of Dedham. We ordered the afternoon tea for two, but shared it amongst three, could probably have stretched to four. Great selection of cakes and light meals on top of that.

Really sweet traditional tea room specialising in Wilkin & Sons Tiptree products. The staff were so friendly and engaging and made sure we were acknowledged and treated us very well. The cream tea option is particularly good as they give you two large scones.
This is an excellent tea room. Serving breakfast lunch and of course afternoon teas. A cosy place with both seating and outside area for those who like to dine all fresco. It was my first visit to this tea room even though I live fairly locally. My sister was staying at an Airbnb nearby so we met for a coffee. They allow dogs which is a massive plus for me.

Great tea room with brilliant selection of lunches and cream teas. They even had a gluten free scone for my wife which was totally unexpected.
