The Essex Rose Tea Room - Dedham - Photo album

Spent some time reading my book. Lovely atmosphere. The servers were friendly and helpful without hovering. The potato leek soup was nice and the mocha was decent. I like the nook chairs that makes this tea shop feel like the perfect place to sit and drink a warm comforting beverage while reading a
Lovely traditional tea room serving good food whether main meals or cakes etc. Situated in the heart of the village and ideal for either beginning or end of a walk around the village and countryside with some refreshments.
Very friendly and polite service at this classic English Tea Room in Constable Country. Late on Saturday afternoon (arrived 4.15pm) they still served some of the best (fresh baked same day) scones we’ve tasted for afternoon tea with clotted cream and Tiptrees preserves. Good value at under £8 per pe
Lovely quaint and historical cafe in the heart of Dedham. We ordered the afternoon tea for two, but shared it amongst three, could probably have stretched to four. Great selection of cakes and light meals on top of that.
Service was fair, we were seated and given menus fairly quickly, we did have to wait for a table but were extremly pleased with the cleaning of it before we were seated (above and beyond for covid19). The food was delicious, the toasties were perfect and so was the ploughman. The only downside is th
Really sweet traditional tea room specialising in Wilkin & Sons Tiptree products. The staff were so friendly and engaging and made sure we were acknowledged and treated us very well. The cream tea option is particularly good as they give you two large scones.
This is an excellent tea room. Serving breakfast lunch and of course afternoon teas. A cosy place with both seating and outside area for those who like to dine all fresco. Service is excellent and fast food is clean and very tasty. An excellent tea room just what you want as you visit a great villag
It was my first visit to this tea room even though I live fairly locally. My sister was staying at an Airbnb nearby so we met for a coffee. They allow dogs which is a massive plus for me. We had tea cakes and lattes which were lovely and hot and tasty. The atmosphere is lovely and although the staff
I visited here with my elderly Mother & a group of her friends last month. We literally piled in (not all on one table but there msu have been about 30 of us) & they were so accommodating & helpful. Due to the average age of our party being 80yrs we only ordered 2 sandwiches between 5 of us - but ag
Lovely food, great atmosphere, reasonably priced. Been here multiple times, the cakes are divine
Fast service and excellent quality sandwiches and cream tea! Ideal for small groups and ideally located after or before a walk!
Great tea room with brilliant selection of lunches and cream teas. They even had a gluten free scone for my wife which was totally unexpected. Fair price, lovely service and good quality food
A must visit for afternoon tea lovers. Excellent food, staff and service. Loved the ambience and the atmosphere.
I rang about a week ago to place an order for 8x takeaway afternoon teas, unfortunately Saturdays are the busiest so wouldn't be able to accommodate more than a table at a go. It was absolutely fine not an issue as we sat on the Green by the lake. Lots of scummy sandwiches and yummy cakes and the sc
