Yet another fantastic meal last night. You never let us down!
Lovely food with attentive waitresses & bar staff.
Went there for a birthday meal with good friends. Had a beautiful meal and Prosecco. Great service and fab food.
food was gorgeous, staff were friendly, didn't feel rushed! Will definitely be going again! Highly recommend!
Came yesterday not having books a table we didn't think we'd get a table. But the staff were so helpful and got us a table at the bar. Our boys are so fussy and even though it was a fathers day lunch the staff were told us that they'd cook our boys chicken nuggets and chips and a burger and chips. Myself and husband a 3 course sunday lunch which was lovely. You made an very good impression on the boys (and us) and they cant wait to come back. Bit of a drive from Anglesey but we'll be back.
Met up with friends we all had a sunday roast beef dinner it was cooked to perfection. It was a very busy Sunday but we still got great attention from the lovely friendly staff
Great New Years Eve party, 1920s theme this year which was good fun. Lovely food, with casino tables - fake money which was a shame coz I won £4500! A fantastic magician who came around each table doing tricks, disco, bacon baps at 1am and a lift home - fantastic.
Had the Home made pie of the day. It's just a steak pie.........but it's the best steak pie I have ever had, with lovely chunky chips. And the wife's chicken ham and leek pie looked just as nice. Staff were incredibly pleasant despite all being very busy.
Wow great service and very helpful staff. I didn't even book a tabale but staff was very helpful to sort everything out. Excellent service
Our sons girlfriend had her 18th birthday party meal on Saturday in the conservatory, great food so we went again for Sunday lunch. Warm, friendly staff, excellent service, Sunday dinner was absolutely amazing. Massive thumbs up 👍You will most certainly see us again at Brookhouse Mill.
Visited here today for lunch, with 28 members of the Mercedes Benz Club. Very impressed with organisation, the food, and the service. Thank you
Excellent food and excellent service, never had a bad meal at the Brookhouse

Lovely place. Great food and great selection of beers. Well recommended!

Thanks
Always a great meal...excellent staff always made to feel welcome upon entering
Staff are very nice. Surroundings lovely and the good excellent my lamb shank was the best
Thank you for a lovely evening. X
Came upon this little gem of a place while out around the countryside. Staff very welcoming as soon as we walked in. Didn't need to book and was given a nice corner booth to sit in. Love the decor of this place, lots of wood and very warm and cosy. Open beams and an amazing show of the mill parts inside. Menu was lovely and some great choice. I had the curry with chips and rice and it was so very tasty. Nice classic fudge cake and ice cream for pudding. The food was served super quick and was nice and hot. Can't knock the staff they were fun and very accommodating. Can't wait to visit here again. Will be lovely to come in the summer as they have some great outside seating and the sound of the river was lovely too.
Fantastic meal, and fantastic service, what an amazing place
Had a wedding party here was amazing food was spot on wonderful staff had a really good day
We had the take away sharer box which was really tasty. Everything was upto the usual great standards.
Had a wonderful night for Taids 70th birthday, the staff are amazing and Made his day very special. We live in Ruthin and will certainly be back, gorgeous food, my dad said the meal was the best ever and my son said the gravy was better than nains!
Great food for a family, good choice of homely dishes and friendly service
Lovely meal for ten. We were on a square table that allowed for good conversation across all elements of the party. We all had three courses of good food, which to be honest was too much. Mushroom starter was excellent. Steak and mushroom pie appeared to be from a pot with random flake pastry on top, not a pie. Hand cut chips were slightly undercooked in the middle but overcooked on the outside. Dessert was excellent. Good alone 3/5 but relaxed atmosphere worthy of extra star.
Beautiful setting next to the river. Would be lovely to sit outside in warmer weather however I visited in a chilly March afternoon. Not sure if they do a pensioner surcharge offer on a Wednesday but there was certainly an awful lot of pensioners dining. The seating opposite the bar wasn't very comfortable and I felt like I was sitting in a walkway.
I was disappointed that they didn't stock any Welsh gin but delighted that the barman recommended a Welsh whisky made at aber falls (famous for its gin!). I savoured the whisky and made a mental note to return in better weather and sit outside next to the river.
Called in for a meal on the way back to Liverpool from holiday in Wales. Found the staff very welcoming and friendly. Food was brilliant and great value for money. Had our little dog with us and he got a nice fresh iced bowl of water to cool him down in the hot weather. Will be back again as soon as we can.
The staff were brilliant and the food was excellent.
I had the lamb and I didn't want it to end!! My wife had the sea bass and said it was fantastic, my nine year old had the vegetarian Wellington and she cleared the plate in minutes.
We would definitely recommend The Brookhouse Mill and we will be back for more.
Friendly and polite staff. Excellent service and very nice food. Well worth a visit.
Overall was a nice experience, felt it was well organised and safe. Staff were attentive and polite, service was prompt, food was ok, steak was cooked like I asked, which is rare (pardon the pun) when you go out to eat these days, Eton mess was so nice only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was the Peppercorn sauce (which I sent back) and the onion rings which although perfectly edible were not beer battered as described on the menu, very small glitches in comparison to the overall lovely experience.
The staff were great and the food was lovely. Weather was fab so apart from it being a bit warm when we were sat eating, couldn't fault the meal. Well priced and overall a great visit. Will go back again.
Had a birthday meal here on 26/06/21 with my family outside the restaurant weather was good thankfully. Food was excellent. Got to go again as one of my friends and boss gave me a gift voucher for my birthday
We didn't book a table in advance, but we're shown to a quiet table for two by friendly staff. There was a good selection on the menu to choose from. Good, prompt service with a pleasant smile goes a long way. Thanks.
Nice pint and lovely meal , young barman needs training on pulling a Guinness, poured in one fill without the settle and top up which is expected these days , well worth a visit though .
