Denton Movie Tavern

We hadn't been out to a movie theater since last year and I realized how much I had missed it. We ordered food at the bar and the staff there were friendly and answered all the questions we had about the menu and how things worked now. Nothing beats watching a movie on the big screen! It was great and plan on going back soon 👍👍. Also really clean and noticed how everyone working was quick to sanitize the common areas.

We were excited to get out and enjoy an afternoon picture with our son. When our drinks came I noticed the server reach into service counter and place our straws in our drinks with his bare hands. Gross. However, I called it to managements attention and was informed that it was not their policy and they would address it promptly. Besides that service and theater was great.. They even made it up with a free movie.

This place is great. You watch a movie with friends and have a nice relaxing drink with your freshly made food. They have a pretty big menu for food, drinks (alcohol), and dessert. It does take a little bit for the food but it's worth the wait. It can be a bit pricey but worth it. All in all it's my favorite movie theater in Denton.

I honestly have not been to any movie theatre in over 2 years. I like the sanitizing stations throughout the hallways. It made me feel better about surfaces that I would be touching. Like most people these days I carry around hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes on my person, and wiped down my tray and seat before sitting. It would be really cool if you guys would provide a couple sanitizing wipes for those that may forget to bring them...otherwise my movie experience was great. I will be back

It has been years since going to the movies so something's have changed because of Covid but it wasn't anything that was bothersome, you have to order from the bar or online before your movie starts so if you want something during your movie you have to leave to go order/get it depending on the what the item is. Extremely comfortable, good people, clean atmosphere and the pizza and tenders were super good movie theater food, better than some restaurants... Loved that I could get a BOTTLE of wine! I'll definitely be back to that location. Saw the movie Dog, such a good one to see.
