We booked a table Saturday evening for Sunday at 2:15 and thought we would struggle but the staff accommodated us very easy, we was greeted well and shown our lovely table in the middle room next to the bar it was perfect for our family gathering it couldn’t have been better, on ordering our drinks at the bar we had a nice welcome greeting and a very professional service with particular attention to detail on the glass cleanliness... always a great start the drinks and service couldn’t have been better if I’m honest, food was ordered and again couldn’t have gone any smoother, when the food arrived everyone enjoyed there starters and the main was to die for and I’m very much into my steaks ! So all in all very above average service and amazing food so well to to all the staff we will be visiting again very soon and thank you all 👌🏻
Everything you need in a Gastro Pub / Restaurant !!! Far end of bar away from the eating area is like a pub with football and dogs allowed (even dog beer).
Other end of the bar is eating and the food was some of the best I've had in a while. Plus a selection of real ales that were fantastic.
Don't mind paying the prices when the place and food is this good. Really good service as well on an incredibly busy Sunday afternoon
Been here twice now and on both occasions the food has been absolutely amazing. The waiters were really friendly on both visits too.
The only negative would be how long we were left waiting. We were in a garden pod and there was a considerable wait for our order to be taken, for plates to be cleared and for dessert menus. And this was on both visits…

Attended a pre booked Christmas meal for 15 people. The 3 course festive meal was excellent value for money at £27 per head. Drinks were good and a great selection of beers were available on tap. Atmosphere and service were excellent. Really enjoyed the experience and would return but a little out of the way. A really enjoyable destination to eat and drink at.
Lovely food, with the pub set in a picturesque location. A bit more expensive than your usual pub fayre, but you can tell what you're getting is quality food and worth the expense as a treat.

Went here for a Sunday roast for the first time & was extremely impressed. It has a modern look from the outside & an old school rustic feel with a modern twist inside. Great selection of drinks, wines & beers especially & the food menu for Sunday roast was excellent. The surrounding area is lovely with views of Derbyshire, views I can only guess would be spectacular in the summer. We will definitely be back!

We went on a Monday evening and it was very quiet so atmosphere was lacking. Charlie greeted us on arrival and the service from him was excellent throughout. We all really enjoyed our food .. sticky toffee pudding was very good. Good beer selection and reasonable prices.

We brought our 2 Witnesses here to say a big 'Thank You' for being a part of our special day 🎊 It was just the 4 of us (a small, sweet & intimate ceremony) 💍
Our little party arrived half an hr earlier than expected, we didn't anticipate it to have been such a quick service in the noon, luckily our garden pod was already awaiting us to which staff were prompt guide us to the area ➡️
All staff were brilliant and the food was amazing as per usual!! We got our celebratory bottle of wine on arrival as requested and a lovely surprise from the Chef with a special dessert platter 🥰 They really made our day feel special and are glad the team were able to be a part of that!! Top quality throughout 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

This is truly an outstanding pub.
The Dining room is lovely and bright with its floor to ceiling windows looking out to the most incredible beer garden.
They have four garden rooms for private dining ideal for a special celebration 🍾
The staff are lovely, friendly and professional.
