Nice food. Big portion sizes. The batter wasn't what we expected, didn't have the normal crisp that you get. Was like a flat batter.
Chips were OK, scampi nice.

We've lived in derby for a long time but this was the first time trying Shelton lock fish bar, and I'm not going anywhere else. Excellent traditional fish and chips, delicious delicious white fish, good chips and the portions are very generous, highly recommended. I'm just sorry to be this late to the party!!

Worth every penny and would easily do an adult.
The goujon was the size of a mini fish with loads of chips, and genuine fruit shoot, not a cheap look- a -like.
Clean place, friendly, efficient, polite staff.
