Perfectly average restaurant. I had heard rave reviews from colleagues about this place, so the bar was set pretty high. Nice food, no stand out dishes. Had the Bento Box, which was a little on the small side. Flavours OK, it was a very average meal. Would I go there again? Probably, but it wasn't earth shattering for me. 7/10 for the overall experience.
Had a brilliant Teppanyaki main course. First class service, entertaining chef and brilliant food. You must try it!!
Superb service , excellent food, the scallops were cooked as well as I have ever eaten. We were treated like kings and the comedic chefs were excellent. Will definitely visti again.
I have to say moonsha is probably our new favourite restaurant In Derby. Food was amazing, staff were very friendly. Top place for a night out.

Had dinner here last sunday and the tepanyaki was fabulous. The chefs were so friendly and entertaining while cooking. The service was awesome and the food tasted really good.
Cannot recommend this place enough. One of the best restaruants in Derby.

We had the teppanyaki experience. Very good price for the amount of the food served. However, the service is absolutely ridiculous, waited so long for drinks, bill, etc, but then the food came out all in 30 min, we were still eating the first course, when the second one was given, which for us it was too much rush in eating considering you pay over £100 for 2 people, but they want you gone. The food was fresh and nicely cooked in front of us, but had to take it all away because I was still eating second course when the third came out and it obviously went cold. Probs won’t return to this particular place.
Nice place with some very good sushi. Not the best in the world but very good value for money. The service was good, staff were friendly but hovered a little bit. Atmosphere was kind of weird, but it was quite empty when we went which makes a difference. Would fully recommend if you're in the area or local!
We had the seafood teppanyaki which came with miso soup, small chicken starter, egg fried rice, prawns, lobster, salmon, scallops, beef and duck. Everything was yum and the chef was friendly, attentive and gave us amazing experience. I only took videos so don’t have photos of the teppanyaki
Arrived here at around 4pm with my 10yo daughter who's a sushi fan and my 9yo niece who's never had sushi. The place was practically empty due to the time of day, as expected. But the staff were very friendly and the service was good. There was a decent but not overwhelming selection of food on offer on the clear menu, and we were able to quickly select something to suit everyone. The food arrived quickly and was excellent. Maybe not quite as good as a couple of very authentic places we've eaten sushi in before. But still excellent, both in presentation and taste. Everybody enjoyed their food, even my non-sushi-liking niece who had chicken in tempura batter.
The robot waitress, Bella, provided a bit of entertainment for the youngsters and a good time was had by all. We would definitely go back if we were in the area again.
There's a small car park at the back of the restaurant which saved a couple of quid and a 5 minute walk.
All good and highly recommended.

Lovely experience with great staff that were very friendly. Not too busy at lunchtime, we walked in and got seated immediately and food was very fast and tasty. Will revisit soon!
We've been here 3 times and each are an experience, we tried the teppanyaki bar for my wife's birthday and the chef kept us entertained and fed amazing experience.
The portions are good value, and atmosphere is a credit to the owner.
There is fantastic variety on the menu even service by a robot waiter!
