Absolutely fantastic food. Easily the best curry house in Derby probably in the region! Have recommended this place to many friends and have brought curry fanatics from all over the world to eat here. One of the best kept secrets in Indian cuisine - a genuine taste of the sub-continent! It may not look of much from the outside but don't let that fool you and definitely don't miss out on this gem of an Indian restaurant!

Amazing authentic food. The service was impeccable and i had no issues with calling staff for whatever was requested. Food tasted great! Brilliant balance between spice, chillies and overall flavour. I ordered several starters and they all tasted great. I also had their korma curry which was adjusted to my liking, lovely and creamy as a korma should. I also had their spicier authentic curries which was full of flavour. Would absolutely recommend this place to eat at in Derby. 10/10

Lamb Kharahi ordered last night could only taste red chilli powder. I would have made a better dish. It appears the chef thought the more chillies he put, the better the dish will taste. He was wrong! There was no other taste than full of red chilli powder. Really disappointed. I hope the owners will read this and enquire as I have saved some of the curry if they want to taste and reflect on what they had prepared…..remember we paid the exact price for this food. I am aware they are a family business so will give them a chance to redeem themselves.

Not the best customer service. My son was carrying a drink which the chef/ waiter/ owner...all in one... rudely asked us to put away in a bag . He could have been a bit more courteous. Not offered a drink menu, apparently they don't have. I had to walk up to bar to see what I could drink. You are most likely to be offered few sauces and chutney at a dine in restaurant which was not. 5 to 6 Chicken nuggets from children menu came in a bowl which was dirty . Again no sauce offered, though my some times does not prefer one. Chicken tika was under cooked with blood running in the meat. We thought we would get a new plate, but it was just heated it in an micro wave and given back. However dish was tasty...that was only positive think about the whole dinner. I hope they do a better service and learn a bit more about hospitality...as they make such good authentic Indian dishes. Will never dine in ever.....
