Came here for food for the first time after reading good reviews. I was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food was really really lovely. As it was Sunday we had the sunday roast. All proper home cooked food very well presented and very tasty. We will, without a doubt, be returning in the near future. Great food, lovely welcoming service and excellent value for money.

Absolutely lovely evening at the Bell and Castle last night. The food was amazing, proper home cooking. And a big thank you to Angela, Seamus and their staff for being so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend it all day long .

1st time visiting as I'd googled Sunday lunch in Derby did not disappoint food was amazing and very generous portions staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was very homely and family orientated will definitely be returning 10/10 to all the staff.

Fantastic place for food and drink. Reasonable pricing for the food and drink. Friendly staff and friendly customers. Fantastic beer garden! Sun trap in the summer. Will definitely be back again!

A lovely place for all, A lovely big garden for them summer days & nyts, Sunday lunch was very tasty today the staff & owners are friendly & helpfull, would definitely recommend to go here

Lovely Bar, very trendy decor. Excellent staff very friendly. There was about 20 of us and they accommodated us all in the large garden at the back. Deffo recommend. Thanks you for a great afternoon x

Booked the function room for my husbands 60th last Saturday and from start to finish we couldn't have been in better hands. Excellent buffet, great atmosphere and the staff couldn't have done any more to help. Will definitely book again. Thankyou so much. Tracey Hibbert.

My first visit and was impressed. Friendly staff, great beer and a big beer garden. Stumbling across the Zanzibar Turk head was a bonus!

Great ambiance, relaxing and soothing atmosphere thanks to the quality of the locals who come in here. Can have a great conversation with anybody as the pub is very open and friendly to all.
