The Five Lamps - Derby - Photo album

Been here a few times and enjoy this smashing pub. Just outside Derby city, but easy walking distance and on many bus routes. Beer great, had a lovely pint of Bass today. When I’ve eaten here in the past the food has been good too. Staff friendly and polite. Car park at rear and an outdoor seating a
Been meaning to visit for months, unfortunately on the previous attempt we found it shut.... turns out that the previous landlord had moved on. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise, Brown Ales Pub Company has took over and massively invested in the place. Judging by previous pictures the c
Simply a great friendly pub, large selection of beers and good quality pub food. In an area with very good real ale pubs nearby, this one holds its own quite comfortably. Recently refurbished and with a change of management the 'Lamps' is a worthy destination. Enjoy. M
Lovely little pub that's become our now local. Love the music, atmosphere, pork pies and most importantly drinks! Would recommend to anyone!
Called in for a drink but no food. Good selection of well kept cask and craft ales. It was a warm evening so sat in the conservatory at the rear so difficult to judge the atmosphere inside. Will definitely call again.
Love this local pub. Great staff Management are doing a brilliant job with the place. Love the street food at the weekend. It has a great beer garden
What a great refreshing pint! What a choice of beers! You can see this place is well looked after, there is no smell of stale beer, tables clean and polished, walls and lamp fittings dust free. I could use the toilet here but, more importantly, ANYONE THAT PAYS SO MUCH ATTENTION TO THE PLACE, MUST
I had the BBQ Pulled Pork Loaded Chips (£6.50). Food was generously portioned and tasted great. Our cycling club was there for lunch and there was plenty of space to park our bikes along with spacious outdoor seating. Service was excellent and our food arrived in good time.
What can I say I travel alot around pubs. And this is my favourite 😍. Best charcoal pork pie in Derbyshire great porters and the toilet is nice. Out beer garden all new is great. Love it.
Great pub on the outskirts of Derby. A big selection of well kept ales including Bass and loads of craft stuff!
Great choice of beer and a beautiful pub.
Get the smoked nuts, best nuts in Derby. Barmaids don't mind if you order a pint of Titanic, without ice
Modern Real Ale Pub just out of the City Centre. Well worth a visit, the Quiz night seemed well attended though a lot of knowledgeable students in attendance!
Superb suburban pub, a short walk from the town centre, large range of ales and ciders available, with knowledgeable staff, beautiful interior. Worth a walk from town.
Bloody lovely place. Bustling with beer lovers and a set of really well kept allies. It has a great atmosphere and a decent outdoor area. The licensees Jess and John are the loveliest and most professional people, who've been in the trade for years and know their stuff! Awesome. Can't wait to return
Excellent venue with varied standing and seating areas. Pleasant undercover outside seating area.
Always a decent pint in the lamps. Currently undergoing some TLC in the garden/car park. A bit strange when this could have happened during the winter months. Would definitely recommend
The Five Lamps has had a full refurbishment along with new management. The decor inside is classic British pub with some quirky elements. Seating is plentiful with a mixture of tables and chairs and booths. The beer selection is excellent with MANY real and craft ales and real ciders to choose fro
The best pub in Derby by far. Interesting surroundings but more importantly 11 handpulls with a different excellent real ale on each one, kept and served exceptionally well. What was also impressive was that the cider and craft beers were separate. Well worth the long walk from the station. If you r
